This week, we're talking with a cool young band making some serious waves (and noise!). Say hello to 8/10: Jason Wrona on guitar, Zack Punturiero on drums, and Wren Andrews on the synths. These guys have a great story – they met at the music mall, sharing practice rooms and eventually forming this awesome trio. They got their start playing parties, friend’s houses in basements and under porches where they strive to achieve unique sounds. While they're now hitting the stage, their core remains in the joy of improvisation and making music together. The trio joined Rockabilly Greg In the Flamingo Lounge on April 10, 2025 to talk about how they met and got their sound. They shared to songs, “Mommy” and “Trijangle” which can be heard at the end of the episode.

In 2015, years after setting aside her larger musical dreams to dedicate herself to raising a family, multi-talented singer/songwriter DeeAnn DiMeo is back to create her legacy. Her latest album “It’s My Time”, currently receiving National airplay with Neal Sapper, New World n Jazz and featuring three original songs amidst a mix of folk, pop and jazz classics, is the latest manifestation of the Niagara Falls, NY native’s renewed vision of her life. DeeAnn visited the Flamingo Lounge on April 8, 2025 to tell her remarkable story, and give us a glimpse into her new single “Simply Beautiful”.

Hailing from Buffalo, NY, this week’s guests, Mike Geraci and Christian Lee from The Abruptors—weave a tapestry of ska, reggae, and rocksteady, infused with lyrical depth and authentic emotion. Since their 2015 inception, they've navigated the complexities of emotion, fear, relationships, and the inevitable disasters of life. Their latest album, "Everything You Know Is Wrong," released through Asian Man Records, showcases their unique blend of heartfelt storytelling and infectious rhythms. Rounding out the band is Toni LaMantia and Alex Schultz. Mike and Christian visited the Flamingo Lounge on March 27, 2025 and shared their stories and two tracks from their new record.
