There’s a moment right before you jump. Most people think the hardest part is the fall. But in reality, it’s the hesitation before it. In this Weekly Reset, we explore a simple but powerful idea: What if the reason you feel stuck isn’t because you don’t know what to do… but because you’re waiting to feel ready? Inspired by a skydiving concept — where instructors don’t count to three, they count to two and push — this episode unpacks the psychology of hesitation, perfectionism, and why overthinking keeps you in place longer than you realize. Because the truth is: You don’t need more time. You need movement. In this episode, we talk about: * Why you keep delaying things you know you should start * The hidden cost of waiting for the perfect moment * How perfection disguises itself as preparation * Why action creates clarity, not the other way around * What it actually means to trust yourself in uncertain moments This is your Weekly Reset. A space to make sense of your inner world during seasons of change — through honest reflection and conversation. Reflection: Where in your life are you still counting to three? And what would it look like to jump at two?

The Leopard and the Tree: A Lesson in Patience, Trust & New Seasons

I celebrated my birthday recently in the Maasai Mara. What I expected to be a memorable experience became something much deeper: a lesson in patience, trust, and learning to move at the pace of life rather than the pace of expectation. In this Weekly Reset, I share the story of a leopard that stayed with me long after the safari ended, and how its behavior mirrored much of what I've been experiencing during the last six months since returning home. Together, we explore: • Why patience isn't passive • Life transitions and identity shifts • Returning home after living abroad • Adapting to unexpected seasons of life • Trusting growth when progress feels invisible • The difference between forcing and unfolding 📩 Join The Weekly Reset If you enjoy these conversations, you'll probably enjoy the newsletter as well. Every week, I share reflections on growth, mindfulness, relationships, and the lessons I'm learning while navigating life's transitions. As a thank you for joining, you'll receive a free Weekly Reset article. 🌐 gregorymakhambi.com This episode is for anyone navigating uncertainty, waiting for clarity, rebuilding after change, or learning to trust a path that doesn't yet make complete sense. Reprogram Your Mind: How Beliefs Shape Your Reality

A lot of the limitations we carry aren’t facts — they’re beliefs we’ve repeated long enough that they started feeling true. Somewhere along the way, I absorbed the idea that your twenties are your “peak years,” and everything after that is decline. So when my focus started slipping or random back pain showed up, I immediately attached meaning to it. I thought something about me was fading. But then life contradicted that story. I started sleeping better, training consistently, and paying closer attention to how I was taking care of myself. And suddenly, I felt stronger, sharper, and more energized than I had in years. That experience forced me to confront something uncomfortable: A lot of the limitations we feel aren’t facts. They’re belief systems we’ve inherited and unconsciously accepted as truth. In this Weekly Reset, we explore: * limiting beliefs * facts vs belief systems * identity and self-perception * mindset shifts * awareness and personal growth * how internal narratives shape our external lives Because sometimes the task itself isn’t the problem. It’s the meaning we’ve attached to it. The Weekly Reset is a reflective series from Limitless Stories about making sense of your inner world during seasons of change.
