CMR was founded in 2001 by Steve Cameron, experienced in managing teams of technical experts in international and multicultural business environments within the shipping, ports, terminals, logistics, and supply chain markets. Stephen trained at sea and ashore for 10 years with cargo division of Cunard Cargo Shipping. He was then part of the management that for 20 years developed and successfully ran O.T. Africa Line, a specialist West Africa focused liner shipping, logistics and terminal operations company, where he was Operations Director and board member responsible for business development. He also spent 4 years at rti Forensics, where he developed the maritime risk, safety and security consultancy, together with post incident investigation services and dispute resolution services.
