He has more than 110,000 subscribers on his YouTube Channel, owns multiple businesses and has proven to be one of the most influential personalities in the bass fishing world. Coupled with his incredible optimism and inspirational faith in God, Jimmy Houston is admired and respected my millions of people all over the world. This podcast was just an extension of Jimmy's incredible success and character. It was very rewarding, funny, informative and educational. On the Mr Bass & Get Ur Fish On Show we are pleased to announce that the one and only Ken Duke will be on the show with us. With some of the recent conversations on the web regarding the economics of tournament fishing, we decided to ask a real expert. The resulting conversation was fascinating and very entertaining. Although the answer to the question of whether or not tournament fishing works financially depends a lot on each individual angler, the economics clearly show that tournament winnings alone don't cover expenses for nearly every professional angler. The content got heated a time or two, but it was all in good fun. We all love the sport and are big fans of professional fishing.

This may be the best show we have done to date! Although all of our angler interviews have been fantastic, Matt Herren was off the charts with great information about all things fishing, and specifically flipping and pitching. If you like a deep dive on fishing techniques, you will love this interview. He has wifi issues a time or two, but don't let that bother you. Eventually, he gets in a good spot and it's on! The last half of the show, we enter the raging debate that has been flying around the Interwebs that got started by none other than Low Budget Live's Luke Dunkin on his show. He made a statement that YouTubers can never become professional anglers, and although he did not mention any names, in short order the Chief Googan, Rob Terkla posted a response vide to Luke. And then all hell broke loose. In that light, we decided that we probably need to discuss the issue for a minute. Hope you enjoy it.
