Muay Thai Magic - Champs Uncovered

It was a pleasure to have former Muay Thai fighter and now coach, Kieran Keddle on the podcast. Kieren had a very successful fight career before retiring to focus on coaching his fighters. The inaugural Double K gym in London was an amazing success with some top talent under his belt such as UK #1 Charlie Peters. Keddle has wealth of experience in the fight game promoting some of the best events around the world too. This was a great insight into how to become successful in the sport of Muay Thai.

This week I was joined by former Muay Thai champion and Head Coach of the Knowlesy Academy, Christian Knowles. Christian had a very successful fight career himself fighting all over the world. He was undefeated in the UK Muay Thai Scene. He then moved into coaching where is has created just as much success. He was crowned coach and gym of the year in 2018. He has the likes of Liam Nolan,  Jonathan Haggerty and many other top fighters in his camp! This chat was a great look into the life of a fighter and what he thinks makes people successful!

This episode I was joined by former Muay Thai UK #1, 2x British champion and 1x European Champion, Nathan Bendon. Nathan fights out of Birmingham in the UK. He has had a very successful career so far in the fight world. He has currently made the move to PRO Boxing rules in order to provide better pay days for his family but he hasn't ruled Muay Thai out. Could ONE Championship be on the cards?

An amazing chat with former WBC World Champion, multiple British and European Champion, Lucy Payne. Originally from Touchgloves gym in Cornwall, Lucy has travelled all over the world fighting and training. Lucy now trains at Corefit UK gym in Birmingham alongside myself and many others.

This week I was joined by John Paul Gallacher, the head coach at the new Deachkalek Muay Thai Academy in Scotland. John is the coach of our newly signed fighter and world champion prospect Nico Carrillo they have some big plans ahead. We can’t wait to see the progress.
