Hi Family, Followers and Friends,  It's been toooo long since we've dropped an episode. We've made some changes to the hosts of our podcast in that we have added Stephan Mambazo as a co-host. This is our first episode with him hosting. We talk about him joining the OMC family and what Ms. Wanda is working on. She's not gone but taking some time to work on her business, Speak Her Consulting. He has been in the helping profession for over thirty years, with more than twenty years as a licensed social worker.  His primary focus of practice is helping those with challenges through various grief and loss issues, particularly after a traumatic loss(es), e.g., homicide, suicide, disaster/public emergency, domestic violence, and racial/gender hate. Stephan is subject matter expert in the areas of grief and trauma-informed care. He has significant experience with relationship issues, couples counseling, and domestic/intimate partner violence/abuse in its various forms. I have more than 10 years of disaster mental health experience, and He also is an effective sexual health interventionist with couples and individuals. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and experienced gender and sexual health therapist.

In this episode talk to Dr. Burns about having conversations with children about sex, and her orgizination, SacPOP and the work she's does educating youth about sex, SIS and more. Dr. Ericka Burns (she/her) is an AASECT Certified Sex Educator and the Founder of Sacramento Peers on Prevention (SacPOP), a non-profit organization dedicated to educating youth about sexual health and reproductive justice. SacPOP utilizes social media, workshops, and community events to educate and empower youth to be advocates for themselves and their community. Dr. Burns is a community activist and focuses her work on creating anti-racist sex education, advocating for the rights of marginalized folks, and specializes in reproductive justice, sexual health, HIV/STI prevention, and peer education.
