Have you ever asked yourself any of these questions?: "I don't know WHAT I'm doing" "I don't know WHY I feel this way" "I don't know HOW I am going to get through this" " I don't know WHERE my life is going" "I don't know WHEN things are going to turn around" I know I have asked ALL of these time and time again. What's funny is that as humans, having a human experience, when these questions come up, we automatically go into what I like to call panic mode. See, our subconscious mind does not understand time, it does not recognize past nor future, so when we consciously identify what we label as a "problem"- aka. the unknown, uncertainty- the "I don't know" syndrome", we BELIEVE that we HAVE to figure it out TODAY. Why? Because our EGO mind, identifies the unknown as an unsafe space, a threat to our existence, and kicks in our survival mode, it also calls up its army of anxiety, worry, fear, frustration etc. You know what I am talking about, then they call up THEIR friends acute feelings of depression, self loathing, self pity the classic "My life is a mess, and I am a failure, and I should be in a different place by now, and why is this happening to me"- on and on. MESSY. So how to do we learn to switch our mindset to take these spaces of the unknown, take these uncertain time, and turn them into opportunity, possibility and a blessing. Today's episode I will teach you about these spaces and why they need to exist in our life and how they are working FOR us and not against us. I will also teach you how to switch your mindset to be able to live WITH the unknown and the uncertainty and the "I don't knows" in a way that include peace, calm and confidence, so you can let the true answers reveal themselves instead of forcing an answer that is usually an unwanted one, and one that does not serve you, leading you back to the very questions you were asking. Peace and Love~

OYYYYY!! Am I right or am I right? The journey of health and wellness is an interesting one to say the least. This journey comes PACKED with all the emotions one can feel: Motivated AF, Tired, Determined, Exhausted, Hopeful, Frustrated, Excited, Defeated...I mean the back and forth should be a HIIT exercise alone... again, am I right or am I right? Let me take you on my roller coaster ride of physical health. Growing up I was naturally thin and athletic. I never had any issues or any thoughts about my weight at all...fast forward to inevitable aging and three babies who acted like their womb, aka my tummy, was their taj mahal and they needed all the room in the world stretching my beautiful elastic skin to the max and then just left it. UGH! It was after my second child that I realized I never had any type of relationship with my body or my body image, externally, and I quickly found that my first relationship that came to be was one of disgust and hate. I cried alllllll the time over my new "body" and worked tirelessly to "snap back" in the worst of ways. The journey of finding self love and true acceptance of who I am today, while also showing gratefulness for who I was yesterday (and leaving it there) has been so crazy and liberating at the same time. I am still working on my hard days, but I have also never loved myself more. Turning a relationship around one step at a time can be tough, but it takes a shift. Tiny little shifts in your mind. Much like the physical exercise, mental shifts, is a practice. It takes discipline, consistency, awareness and a whole lot of grace and patience. If you are struggling with your physical health specifically on the outside, let me in and let me share with you how you can start to truly love the crap out of yourself no matter where you are on your health journey. I will teach you how to look AMAZING and GLOW every single day- no matter what. I want to take a deeper dive with you into what a morning/daily routine looks like for me. What do I require for a healthy and grounded day, above everything else I could choose to do in my day? Piggybacking off of the last episode "F*ck a Morning Routine", I want to share what my #1 non-negotiable is in my life as I know it today. I am talking about my Spiritual Health. This is an absolute #1 thing in my daily routine that I cannot live without. I do my absolute best to set aside specific quiet time where I can learn how to deepen my faith, my knowledge in God and His word and how to actually apply this to my life. Now, in order for me to have real intimate time, I have to be up before my kids and that means getting up around 5am- does this happen all the time? No way. Especially because my youngest is STILL waking up about 2-3 times per night. However, I am aware and wholeheartedly believe that my time to deepen and practice my spiritual health does not mean I have to spend an hour or longer every day in order for me to feel grounded and at peace. Is it nice? absolutely, but is it necessary? Not all of the time. Some days, my spiritual practice consists of lying in bed and just giving thanks - literally saying "thank you, thank you, thank you" over and over again, then get up and hit the ground running, and trust me, when your intentions are set on WHY you are choosing this time vs just checking it off your list, the results are incredible. So, whether or not I spend 5 minutes or an hour and a half practicing my spiritual health, my WHY is what matters, and is the driving force. My WHY is how I get the results I need every single day; it is how I grow; it is how I become strong and it is the force behind everything in the next 16-18 hours. If there is anything to encourage out of all the non-negotiable pillars, Let's start with this.

My morning routine used to look like this 5:00am-5:15am- wake up; coffee 5:20am-5:40am- devotions 5:45am-6:30am- Workout 6:30am-6:45am- Meditations 6:45am-7:00am- read; coursework 7:00am-7:20am- Shower 7:20am-7:40am- Breakfast 7:40am-8:00am- Ready for work 8:15am- Leave for work This bullshit lasted for about 3 days, MAYBE a week if I literally had nothing else to do the night before. Over and over I would try to do this, shorten times, extend times, wake up earlier, cut something out. You know what? I FAILED EVERYTIME, and guys, not just once, but twice, thrice and quadrice lol - I mean I just couldn't STICK it like I wanted. I wanted so bad to be one of those people who PREACHED a morning routine, hell I even taught that to my clients!!! It wasn't until I heard a short clip of a monk who stated this "A morning routine is not about waking up early, it's not about the coffee, though those things are important, it's about grounding and being still"-that's when it clicked. I couldn't possibly stick to this strict and rigid schedule of just "to-do's" because it didn't feel good to me. NONE OF IT DID. I had to completely unlearn everything I thought I had to do, which was fill up my morning with a weeks worth of things to do. So I backed off completely and that in and of itself, already felt amazing. I felt like I could breathe and had space and ease. I dove into what made me feel absolute joy. What things did I look forward to doing AND not only that, but I F*ed the morning routine and made this into my DAILY routine. Now, I do ONE thing every morning. ONE THING. and it sets me up for the best days and even on the not-so-best day, it gives me the resilience and mindset I need to power through. Listen in to see how to build a daily routine (whether that's done in the morning, afternoon, or evening) that actually serves you and propels you forward. To anything else that feels icky to you or forced- 2 words. F*CK IT

I guess you could say I "failed" on the audio, but believe me, my sound engineer, Riley, cleaned it up- a lot! I was waiting for my mic to be delivered, but felt this opportunity to record and release so strongly that I had to work with what was available, so thank you RILEY for glittering this up for me. Now- Down to the intention of this limited series. WELCOME to Failing My Way to Success podcast series brought to you by PeP. Talks with Megan De La Concha. The intention of this podcast is to bring to life a new energy surrouding the word "failing". I don't know about you, but I OFTEN feel that I am "failing" in some aspect of my life, whether it be failing as a wife, failing as a mom, failing as an entrepreneur, failing as a friend and sometimes just failing as a human. But what we "FAIL" to understand, is that the KEY to any success of any kind, ONLY comes through the art of Failing. Failing is only an OPPORTUNITY to thrive. Failing presents to us a situation or circumstance that needs our attention and gives us the space and the grace to become curios and to explore questions like "what is missing?", "what do I need to remove, add, build up, break down in order to make this better, feel better, be able to do better?". Failing hard and failing fast just means you have an increased chance of NAILING it the next time. But there lies the caveat. You have a choice. You can either CHOOSE to lay all up in your failures OR you can choose to change your perspective, view the "fail" as just the next step needed to succeed. This can be applied to your personal ambitions, your professional dreams, your relationships, your goals, and most importantly, your own growth. Failing is a great thing. It means your trying, you have skin in the game. Failing is only as sign that you are succeeding because you are OUT there TRYING. Learn from the opportunity, discover new things, new ways, new beliefs, new POWER and go at it again. I hope you walk away from this series feeling GOOD. That's it. I hope to encourage you through sharing my own journey of fails that are pushing me into more and more success in all areas of my life. I hope to support you by sharing tools, tips, and mindset hacks that help create awareness around your current perspectives, your belief systems and your habits. Follow along, join in or just laugh at me while we go through this together. Much love, Megan De La Concha
