As we progress further into the holiday season, I decided to broacast a show that speaks to the incoming Trump administration and its very premeditated TYRANNY. So, "No Virignia, things will NOT go back to 'normal.' " I will be referencing various political philosophers, especially Timothy Snyder and his book--"On Tyranny." Those of you who have disowned various friends or even family members for their Trump support are not alone. We have your back. This is our main story. I will also speak to our leaving Blogtalkradio, (or their new venture) for a new home at Podserve.fm. This will begin soon.  We will also have a few musical parodies, mocking the Trumpers you are sadly forced to endure. Note: the schism between Trump supporters and the rest of us who have maintained a sense of DECENCY AND COMPASSION is not about a difference in 'politics.' This is a difference in VALUES, IN MORALITY. Trump and his MAGA followers have elevated cruelty, ignorance and bigotry to new heights not seen since Hitler's Third Reich. So, Trump is reelected. What next? One thing I will say, this is NOT the time to despair. This is NOT the time for fear. This IS the time to stand together against the shameful forces of bigotry that produced this sad result. A convicted felon who has proven to be a pathological liar, who uses Hitler's rhetoric and is showing signs of dementia will be given the nuclear weapon button. Trump and the GOP sold fascism and neo Nazism--and won. So, what next? While Brett Meiselas of the Meidas Network is warning us to avoid nastiness, to avoid name calling, the Trumpers are LAUGHING. Those of us who have a sense of moral outrage, decency and compassion must bring back a sense of shame to the American public. We do NOT owe Trump voters ANYTHING. We do NOT owe them courtesy. We do NOT owe them 'civility.' We do NOT owe them friendship. We must ostracize these shameful bigots for the fascist wanna be's they have proven to be. This is the broadcast that SHOULD have aired 11/3/24 at 3 pm Central, but didn't due to the technical incompetence of blogtalkradio.       Donald Trump and his MAGA minions are foaming at the mouth over being called out as fascists. Tough. Donald Trump and MAGA ARE fascists. In fact, the fascism on display by the GOP of Trump has crossed over into Nazism. Now, before some of you cry foul, claiming this accusation is 'going too far', you need to understand what fascism is--and how Hitler rose in power. It didn't start with the camps. It started with Hitler amassing enough crooked lawyers willing to sign over their rights to a "unitary executive." Sound familiar? I will discuss this issue in some depth.  I will also discuss Trump's call to violence and revenge. Mother Jones has done an extensive series on the growing threat of Christian nationalism. This show will discuss the THEOBROS, a group of self-proclaimed ministers who preach hatred. They hate women. They hate gays. They hate democracy. Their ultimate plan is to overthrow the Constitution and create a Christian theocratic state similar to Sharia law. Their leaders are surprisingly young. JD Vance is among their ranks. The beliefs of these theobros include virulent racism, misogyny and anti Semitism. They are in league with the resurgence of neo Nazis.  I will discuss in detail.  One THEOBRO I will discuss in more depth is Russell Vought, one of the chief architects of Project 2025. These religious bigots want to strip women of their human rights--including the right to vote. This is not a drill or a joke.  I will also discuss how Mayor Eric Adams made the specious claim that Trump isn't a fascist. Not only is this claim the work of a coward, but it demonstrates Adams' vast ignorance.  I will also have musical parodies and final thoughts. Come join me.  Jeanine

Just 2 days ago, federal Judge Tanya Chutkan released the files prepared by special prosecutor Jack Smith in the election interference/insurrection case. The file had been heavily redacted earlier, but this newly released file exposed previously redacted sections. In spite of the almost 1,900 pages of evidence against Trump, the 'mainstream' aka corporate media has largely ignored Trump's actions in this case, choosing to downplay this mountain of evidence. Now that would be enough, except corporate media seems to be working feverishly hard to protect their 'click-bait King'--Donald Trump. You see, clicks equate to advertising revenue--MONEY. Not only is corporate media ignoring the Jack Smith evidence, but they have ignored the 34 convictions against Trump in the 'hush money' case. Unfortunately, that's not all, as corporate media has been eagerly 'sanewashing' Trump's antics, his habitual 'word salad', and the displays of obvious dementia.
