Shadow of the Cross

Whether you're lost, struggling to make changes in your life, or seeking answers in trying times, you find yourself enveloped in a shadow. Confused, and questioning this feeling of a presence, you realize fears, doubts, anxiety, even your insecurities are no longer present. You develop an overwhelming peace and you hear a voice call to you from above. as you close your eyes and listen, the words gently lift you up. you hear, "For gaining wisdom and instruction, for understanding word of insight, for receiving instruction to prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair, for giving prudence to those who are simple, knowledge and discretion to the young - let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance - for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowledge, but fools despite wisdom and instruction." this is Proverbs 1:2-7 and as you open your eyes, a cross looms in front of you and, you are knelt down in its shadow.
