Small Talk with Big Chungus
Podcast door Big Chungus
They asked us to not get political- guess what happened. Small Talk with Big Chungus is meant to be a show for everyone from the average TikTok fan to the Rajagopalachari stan- a podcast that aims to continue the conversation on what our country is supposed to be to each of us and uplift the potentially uninformed from the abyss of ignorance. There is nothing worse than looking the other way when sh*t hits the fan, even if you've got an air conditioner.

We've finally reached the 10th episode of STwBC! Big Chungus dissects the 2023 Karnataka Election results with new guests (and residents of the state) Subhas Chandra Boss and Idli Raja Wodeyar, along with some national implications for the Congress Party's landslide win.

INDIRA GANDHI BIRTHDAY SPECIAL -- Following up from Episode 2 last year, Big Chungus and new guest JawaharLOL talk about the Congress party's new and admittedly energetic attempts to revive itself in the run up to 2024- the long overdue elections for its Presidency, and the uber ambitious Bharat Jodo Yatra.

We're back with the first episode of the year (in July, sorry) to talk about the seldom respected albeit ever-so-rampant phenomenon of political defections, with special emphasis on the current crisis of power in Maharashtra- and looming split of a major player in state politics since the 60s, the Shiv Sena. Joined by Bhindira Gandhi from last time along with newbie Jhadhu! Correction- The Shiv Sena, BJP, NCP, and Congress all contested the 2014 Maharashtra Assembly Election individually, the latter 2 did not contest together despite running the outgoing government in a coalition.

We try to make sense of what's going on in India's most populous state ahead of the elections next year.

(Headphones Recommended) Afghanistan's status as the graveyard of empires has been proven once again, but what cards does this new regime hold for its role in South Asia?
