Laurel Hosmet shares her journey to becoming AD at Valpo and outlines how Northwest Indiana's D1 program is building their Mens and Womens Basketball programs in the MVC. This fall will be Valpo's 10th year in the MVC after moving up from the Horizon league. Laurel talks some Beacon Football (Pioneer League FCS) and the athletic infrastructure improvements and fund raising. She is a national championship-winning head coach and player, an NAIA National Coach of the Year, and a two-time conference Coach of the Year, Boyd boasts a 180-100 (.643) record in nine years as a collegiate head coach and has won 20 or more games in seven of her nine seasons.
