Good morning! Here's your Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia surf zone forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service Jacksonville. We're looking at a moderate risk of rip currents in effect for today, so if you're heading into the water, stay alert and aware of those dangerous currents that can form in the surf zone. The good news is the waves are keeping it mellow at two to three feet, perfect for a variety of skill levels. Today's shaping up to be absolutely beautiful with sunny skies and highs in the mid eighties along the Northeast Florida coast, climbing to the upper eighties down in the Georgia beaches. Winds will start light out of the south around five miles per hour this morning, then shift to the east and increase to around fifteen miles per hour by afternoon. Water temperature is sitting nice and warm at seventy five to eighty degrees. Just keep in mind the UV index is very high today, so slather on that sunscreen generously and reapply frequently. Tides are shifting throughout the day. If you're in the Jacksonville area, expect low tide around six forty one in the morning with high tide rolling in around twelve forty two in the afternoon. Up in Fernandina Beach, low tide hits at seven nineteen with high tide at one forty four. And if you're over in St. Augustine, you're looking at low tide at six forty eight and high tide at twelve fifty. Moving into Friday, we're keeping that moderate rip current risk in place. Surf heights stay consistent at two to three feet, and we'll see mostly sunny skies with just a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms developing. Highs again in the mid eighties with southeast winds ten to fifteen miles per hour. Down in Georgia, heat index values could reach up to one hundred two degrees, so stay hydrated. Looking ahead to the extended period, Saturday and Sunday bring a slight increase in surf to three to four feet up in Northeast Florida with a chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Georgia beaches stay at two to three feet. Both days remain mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper eighties and light southeast winds. Finally, Memorial Day Monday wraps up the holiday weekend with three to four foot waves in North Florida and two to three feet in Georgia. Mostly sunny skies, just a slight chance of showers, highs in the mid to upper eighties, and southeast winds around fifteen miles per hour. Have a fantastic and safe day out there on the water! Northeast Florida Southeast Georgia Surf Forecast Small Waves Warm Water Thunderstorms Expected Friday Through Tuesday

# Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia Surf Zone Forecast Good morning, it's Friday, June nineteenth, and we've got your surf and beach forecast for Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. Let's start with the water conditions. Today you're looking at small surf, one to two feet, which means it's going to be pretty mellow out there. The water temperature is hanging around eighty to eighty-five degrees, so it's nice and warm for a dip. Rip current risk stays low, but remember that life-threatening rip currents can still pop up around groins, jetties, reefs, and piers, so stay aware. Now, here's the thing about today's weather. It's going to be mostly cloudy with a high around ninety degrees, and we're expecting showers and thunderstorms likely throughout the day. The heat index could reach up to one hundred seven, so it's going to feel pretty toasty out there. Southwest winds will be pushing around fifteen miles per hour. UV index is moderate, so don't forget that sunscreen between the downpours. If you're heading to the beach today, check out the tide times for your specific spot. Vilano Beach has a low tide at six fifty-four in the morning and high tide at one o-one in the afternoon. Over at Jacksonville Beach, the low is six seventeen AM with high tide at twelve twenty-four PM. Looking ahead to Saturday, conditions stay similar with one to two foot surf and low rip current risk. We're still expecting showers and thunderstorms likely, with highs in the upper eighties and a heat index up to one hundred six degrees. Winds will be lighter, coming from the west at five to ten miles per hour. Moving into Sunday, the surf mellows out to around one foot. There's a chance of showers and thunderstorms, but conditions are looking a bit more settled with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper eighties. Monday brings mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower nineties and one to two foot surf. Then Tuesday looks pretty similar, sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms and highs in the lower nineties. Down in the Georgia coastal area around Brunswick and St. Simons, you've got similar conditions today. One to two foot surf with low rip current risk, cloudy skies, and showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. Highs in the upper eighties with heat indices around one hundred two degrees. Saturday in Georgia stays mostly cloudy with more showers and thunderstorms likely, upper eighties for highs, and a heat index up to one hundred three. Sunday into early next week looks pretty consistent with partly sunny skies on Sunday, then mostly sunny Monday and Tuesday with highs climbing into the lower to mid nineties by Tuesday. So whether you're in Florida or Georgia, pack patience for those afternoon thunderstorms and embrace the warm water and small surf. It's beach season, and while the waves aren't going to blow your mind this week, the water's perfect and the vibes are definitely there. Stay safe out there. Northeast Florida Southeast Georgia Surf Report Thursday Conditions Low Rip Current Risk High UV Index Thunderstorms Expected

# Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia Surf Report Good morning! Welcome to your Thursday surf zone forecast for Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. I'm your guide for the next few days of conditions along our beautiful coast. Let's start with what's happening today. If you're thinking about heading to the beach, here's what you need to know. We're looking at surf heights of one to two feet with a low rip current risk, which is the good news. However, if you're sensitive to the sun, bring protection because we're expecting a very high UV index today. The water temperature is hanging out in that comfortable range of eighty to eighty-five degrees, perfect for a refreshing dip. Now, here's the catch. We've got a high thunderstorm potential throughout the day, so while conditions start partly sunny, showers and thunderstorms are likely. Expect southwest winds around ten miles per hour in Georgia, with slightly higher winds up in Florida around the same speed. High temperatures will be pushing into the lower nineties, but the heat index could feel closer to one hundred nine down in Florida and around one hundred ten over in Georgia. That's definitely hot, so hydration is key if you're planning any extended time outdoors. Looking at the tides, if you're in the Jacksonville area, high tide hits around eleven twenty-seven in the morning with low tide coming around five thirty in the evening. Down in St. Augustine, you'll see highs around eleven thirty-five in the morning, and over at Fernandina Beach, the high comes a bit later around twelve thirty-two. Now, let's jump ahead to Juneteenth on Friday. The thunderstorm activity is going to ease up just slightly to moderate potential, so we might catch a break or two. The high temperature will be around ninety degrees, still toasty, with a heat index around one hundred eight. We're looking at partly sunny skies with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Southwest winds will be a bit more energetic, kicking up to around fifteen miles per hour. Looking at our extended outlook, Saturday is shaping up to be mostly cloudy with more thunderstorms and showers moving through. Highs will drop back into the upper eighties. Sunday looks promising with partly sunny skies and just a chance of showers and thunderstorms, with similar temperatures in the upper eighties to around ninety. And finally, Monday is looking like your best beach day so far. Sunny skies are expected with highs climbing into the lower nineties and lighter southwest winds around ten miles per hour. One important reminder before you head out to the beach: even though our rip current risk is low, life-threatening rip currents can still develop around groins, jetties, reefs, and piers. Always stay aware of your surroundings and swim near lifeguard stations when possible. Whether you're heading to Jacksonville Beach, Fernandina, St. Augustine, or down to the Georgia coast at St. Simons or Brunswick, just keep an eye on those thunderstorms and don't underestimate the heat and sun. Have a great day at the beach and stay safe out there. For more http://www.quietplease.ai Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOta

Northeast Florida Southeast Georgia Beach Forecast Warm Water Thunderstorms Expected This Week Surf One to Two Feet

# Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia Surf Zone Forecast Well folks, if you're thinking about heading to the beach today, you better pack your patience along with your sunscreen because Mother Nature's got a mixed bag in store for us. Let's start with the good news. Conditions are staying nice and calm out there with surf heights hovering around one to two feet. That's great if you're looking for a mellow day in the water, but if you're hoping to catch some waves, you might want to temper your expectations. The rip current risk remains low across the board, though as always, stay extra cautious around those jetties, groins, and piers where conditions can get sketchy real fast. Now here's the thing that's going to make today interesting. We're looking at a high thunderstorm potential this afternoon, and I'm not talking about a light shower. Showers with thunderstorms are likely, so keep one eye on the sky at all times. When you see those clouds building, it's time to get out of the water. Seriously. And if you've got sensitive skin, slather on that sunscreen because the UV index is off the charts at extreme levels. The sun's got teeth today. Water temperatures are absolutely gorgeous, ranging from the upper seventies up to the low eighties depending on where you are. That's perfect for a comfortable swim. Air temperatures will peak around ninety degrees under mostly cloudy skies with northwest winds staying light at around ten miles per hour. Moving into Wednesday, the thunderstorm situation calms down a bit. We're looking at moderate thunderstorm potential with partly sunny skies and a chance of showers and thunderstorms rather than likely showers. That's an improvement. Surf stays the same at one to two feet, and rip current risk stays low. High temperatures will be in the upper eighties, though the heat index could climb up to around one hundred and one, so stay hydrated out there. Southwest winds pick up just slightly, still around ten miles per hour. Looking ahead to Thursday and into Juneteenth on Friday, we're back to likely thunderstorms with partly sunny conditions and highs in the lower nineties on Thursday and around ninety on Friday. Surf remains consistently small at one to two feet. By Saturday, things start to ease up a little bit with mostly cloudy skies and just a chance, rather than likely conditions, for showers and thunderstorms. Highs drop back into the upper eighties with northwest winds returning. Down in the Georgia zone, the story is pretty much the same. Today we've got that high thunderstorm potential with mostly cloudy skies and likely showers and thunderstorms. Surf is around one foot with low rip current risk. Water temperatures are a touch warmer, running eighty to eighty-five degrees. Highs reach into the upper eighties. Wednesday along the Georgia coast actually brings high thunderstorm potential, which is a notch above what we're seeing in Florida. Again, mostly cloudy with likely showers and thunderstorms. Surf nudges up to one to two feet and rip current risk stays low. Thursday through Saturday follows a similar pattern to what we're expecting across the state line with partly sunny to mostly cloudy conditions, scattered thunderstorms, and relatively consistent small surf. Bottom line: if you're heading to the beach this week, come for the warm water and calm waves, but be prepared for afternoon thunderstorms. Keep your phone charged, watch the weather, and always stay aware of conditions. This is a week for cautious beach enjoyment, not daring adventures. Stay safe out there. Northeast Florida Southeast Georgia Surf Forecast Small Waves Thunderstorms Heat Index Upper Eighties

# Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia Surf Zone Forecast Well folks, here's your coastal outlook for the Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia beaches, and let me tell you, Mother Nature's got quite the mixed bag planned for us this week. Starting with today, we're looking at some pretty small surf out there, just one to two feet. Now, that's not going to thrill any experienced surfers, but it could be perfect if you're just getting started or looking for a mellow paddle out. The rip current risk is staying low, so that's good news for swimmers and surfers alike. But here's where things get interesting. We've got a high thunderstorm potential today, and I mean high. If you're heading out, make sure you're keeping one eye on the sky because showers and thunderstorms are likely to pop up, especially after three in the afternoon. The UV index is extreme, so slather on that sunscreen before you hit the water. Water temperatures are hanging out between seventy seven and eighty two degrees, which is pretty comfortable for most folks. Winds are light out of the west at around ten miles per hour, and highs will reach the upper eighties. Just be aware that heat index values could climb up to one hundred and six degrees, so stay hydrated out there. Moving to Wednesday, the surf is still going to be minimal at one to two feet, but now we're bumping up that rip current risk to moderate, so pay attention to those conditions if you're heading out. The thunderstorm potential is dropping to moderate, which is a bit better, and we're expecting mostly cloudy skies with just a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs again in the upper eighties, with heat index values around one hundred and five. Southwest winds around ten miles per hour will keep things breezy but manageable. As we look ahead to Thursday and Juneteenth, the pattern really starts to settle into a rhythm here. We're going to see partly sunny skies with showers and thunderstorms likely, highs pushing into the lower nineties, and those surf heights staying consistent at one to two feet. Saturday looks similar, though it'll be a bit more cloudy, with highs in the upper eighties and continued chances for storms. Now, if you're checking out the Georgia side of things, down at places like St. Simons Island and Brunswick, the forecast is pretty comparable today. Small surf, low rip current risk, but that same high thunderstorm potential and extreme UV index. Water temps are a touch warmer down there, between eighty and eighty five degrees. Heat indices are slightly lower too, maxing out around one hundred and three instead of one hundred and six. Wednesday through the weekend keeps that same general pattern going for Georgia beaches as well. Mostly low rip current risk, consistent one to two foot surf, and regular chances for afternoon and evening storms. Here's my bottom line for you: if you're planning any beach time this week, get out there early before the afternoon storms roll in. Stay aware of rip currents, especially around jetties and piers, even when the risk is listed as low. Protect that skin from the extreme UV, and most importantly, keep an eye on those skies. The good news is the waves are going to stay mellow all week, so it's a great time to enjoy the water without battling big surf. Just respect the weather and you'll have a great time out there. Northeast Florida Southeast Georgia Beach Forecast Heat Index Alert Dangerous Conditions Monday Through Wednesday

Well folks, gather round for your Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia beach forecast, brought to you on this sweltering Sunday afternoon in mid-June. Let's start with what's happening right now through this evening. The water's looking pretty inviting at 77 to 82 degrees, but the sky tells a different story. We're looking at mostly cloudy conditions with showers and thunderstorms likely to pop up. That extreme UV index means you'll want to keep that sunscreen handy if you venture out. Rip currents are staying low, and the surf is hanging tight at 1 to 2 feet. Winds are coming in light from the southwest around 10 miles per hour. Now here's the kicker – temperatures are climbing into the lower 90s, but that heat index? We're talking up to 100 degrees in Northeast Florida and 102 down in the Georgia areas. It's going to feel absolutely brutal out there. Now, let me give you the heads-up on Monday because things are ramping up in a big way. We're expecting mostly sunny skies until about 5 PM, then clouds roll back in with showers and thunderstorms likely sticking around. The rip current risk remains low, and surf stays at that 1 to 2-foot range. Here's where it gets serious though – temperatures in the mid-90s combined with that heat index pushing past 109 in Northeast Florida and hitting a sweltering 113 down in Georgia. That's dangerously hot out there, folks. You'll want to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks if you're spending time on the beach. Looking ahead to Tuesday and beyond, we're tracking a pattern of partly to mostly cloudy skies with showers and thunderstorms likely continuing throughout the week. Surf conditions remain consistent at 1 to 2 feet, so don't expect any swells to get excited about. Highs settle back into the upper 80s and mid-80s Tuesday through Wednesday before climbing back to around 90 by Thursday. One important reminder as we wrap this up – rip currents might be low risk overall, but they can still become life-threatening near groins, jetties, reefs, and piers. Always respect the ocean and watch for those telltale signs of narrow, fast-moving currents heading seaward. Stay safe out there, keep cool, and we'll see you at the beach.
