For our first foray into the Karate Cinematic Universe, the team has Karate Kid at home, so quit complaining! And home is Houston, Texas, The Birthplace of Humidity. The late great Jonathan Brandis battles the twin demons of maladaptive daydreaming and oxygen deprivation to achieve karate glory under the guidance of Mister Mako-yagi-san. With hot-for-teacher Beau Bridges, hot-for-schub Julian Nixon, Winny from the Wonder Years, and a truly unhinged Joe Piscopo and Richard Moll one-two-punch (I don't think I’m forgetting anyone), this film makes you really believe that the early 90’s were the peak 90’s in a very mid martial arts children's classic!
