Click the [Repost] 🔁 button so more people can hear it! —————————————————————————————— Bio: Resident DJ of the Anomaly collective (Marseille, FR) The name DJ ROTAVELE, meaning "ELEVATOR" spelled backward, perfectly reflects the dynamic character of his music, much like an elevator that rises and falls, taking everyone aboard to their destination! His sets play with the audience’s emotions: hypnotic tones contrasted with mental techno, energized by the warmth of hardgroove. This interplay of contrasts alternates between a rotation of styles and techno sounds. The organic clashes with the industrial, the warm with the cold. Born in the Paris suburbs, DJ ROTAVELE grew up in an environment teeming with artistic diversity, shaped by graffiti, industrial zones, and urban culture. His father, a bassist, introduced him at an early age to the love of powerful vibrations, while his mother, a hip-hop enthusiast, and his older sister, a fan of percussion-rich tracks, played key roles in shaping his unique sonic universe. He discovered techno in Paris clubs and later in Brittany, where rave parties immersed him in acid, mental, and hypnotic sounds. A self-taught artist, he mastered mixing on vinyl and CDJs, developing an unshakable technique. Now based in Marseille for the past five years, working as a web developer by day and DJ by night, DJ ROTAVELE continues to refine his style across local stages. We were a small group of trainees and students, united by a shared passion for electronic music, spending every bit of our money on records and music equipment. Driven by hard-hitting Techno and Acid sounds, we made our mark by throwing legendary parties, turning abandoned factory spaces into mind-blowing, otherworldly experiences — always just for one night.
