His brother gets arrested and charged with a life felony involving a girl who was nine. And Josh Duggar, sitting in a federal prison cell four years into his own sentence, has his attorney put out a statement about how hard it is to be falsely accused. He "lives with the painful reality of how false accusations can destroy a life," it says. Publicity can "twist the truth into sensationalized fiction." A jury convicted him. A federal judge refused to overturn it. An appeals court upheld it. The Supreme Court declined to hear it. Four levels of the federal judiciary examined the case against Josh Duggar and left it standing. He is still, in his own telling, the one this happened to. In 2015, a statement went out under his name admitting he'd led a double life and, in his own words, "acted inexcusably" and "hurt others." The country read it. It ended everything. In 2025, Josh Duggar told a federal court he didn't write it. He says television producers did. That's what he's doing in there. Not serving a sentence, taking it apart, one admission at a time. Can Lindsay Clancy Win Without These Witnesses?

Lindsay Clancy postpartum psychosis defense — the women who could explain it best have been shut out of the courtroom by a judge's order. Kevin Reddington asked to call women who have survived postpartum psychosis so a jury could hear what it does to a person from someone who has actually been inside it. Judge William Sullivan said no. That leaves the defense explaining the most important concept in the case entirely through paid clinicians, in a trial where the Commonwealth is seeking a first-degree murder conviction. The rest of the defense file is documentation. Lindsay Clancy told her husband at the end of December that she was having thoughts of hurting her kids. She admitted herself to a psychiatric hospital on New Year's Eve and was discharged. Nineteen days later, Cora, Dawson, and Callan were dead. Her attorney has said she was prescribed roughly thirteen psychiatric medications over about four months, and both she and her husband are suing the providers who wrote them. Lindsay Clancy trial coverage — the Duxbury mother's own phone may be the strongest witness the prosecution has, and she is the one who filled it. Prosecutors say a note Lindsay Clancy typed about her older children roughly three months before their deaths belongs in front of the jury. They also say her phone shows her checking how long her husband would be gone on the evening of January 24, 2023. He left at 5:15 to pick up dinner and medication. He was back a little after six. The Commonwealth calls that planning and has charged her with three counts of first-degree murder. Her attorney, Kevin Reddington, does not dispute that she killed Cora, Dawson, and Callan. He disputes that the person who did it was capable of understanding any of it, and he has a stack of medical records he says proves the system had been failing her for months. The hardest thing to explain to a jury is that severe psychosis does not announce itself — a person can be completely untethered from reality and still send a text about takeout. Why No One Screens For What Lindsay Clancy Had

Every screening tool used in OB-GYN and pediatric offices across the United States is designed to catch postpartum depression. Sadness. Hopelessness. Difficulty bonding. None of them screen for postpartum psychosis — a condition that involves hallucinations, command voices, delusions, and a complete break from reality. It affects one to two women in every thousand births. And the person going through it almost never knows it is happening. Lindsay Clancy was a labor and delivery nurse who sought help from every corner of the medical system after the birth of her third child. She went to her providers. She called crisis lines. She checked herself into McLean Hospital. She was prescribed nine medications over four months. She told her doctors she was having intrusive thoughts. Her civil lawsuit alleges those were auditory hallucinations — voices she could not distinguish from reality — and that her providers treated them as anxiety without ever asking the question that would have changed the diagnosis. A forensic psychiatrist later diagnosed her with Bipolar Disorder I with postpartum onset — meaning the antidepressants her doctors prescribed may have triggered the psychotic episodes they kept failing to identify. Her husband Patrick told a friend that Lindsay seemed overmedicated and was acting like a zombie. An outside hospital flagged overmedication and misdiagnosis. According to the lawsuit, the response from her nurse practitioner never came. Nolan Wells And Lindsay Clancy Left Us With ONE Question

A Mississippi teenager who never came off an island, and a Massachusetts mother about to face a jury. Two cases. One mailbag. Nolan Wells was eighteen, a college wide receiver, out at Horn Island on the Fourth of July with friends from Ocean Springs. The island is uninhabited, roughly ten miles offshore, with no shelter and no reliable signal. The boats went home. He wasn't on one. A National Park Service ranger recovered him from the water two mornings later. Two examinations of him exist and neither has been released. Cause and manner of death are undetermined. Ben Crump is investigating for the family and the district attorney has said the case is headed to a grand jury. Lindsay Clancy, a former nurse, has pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Cora, five, Dawson, three, and eight-month-old Callan at the family's Duxbury home in January 2023. Kevin Reddington argues she was misdiagnosed, overmedicated, and psychotic. Prosecutors have countered by pointing to other mothers who got just as sick and did something else. Eighteen jurors are being seated. Patrick Clancy is on the defense witness list. She has never given police a statement.
