No new date has been set, but the trial could now stretch into mid-2027. This is the third time the Morphew case has been delayed or derailed. Charges were first filed in 2021 and dismissed in 2022 amid prosecutorial misconduct. The DA was later disbarred. Suzanne’s remains were discovered in 2023, and a grand jury re-indicted Barry in 2025. He was arrested in Arizona, where according to arrest documents he had been living under the alias Lee Moore.
