Near Cloudcroft in the Lincoln National Forest, teenage campers hear two enormous bipedal creatures screaming and communicating through deep clicking sounds. The entities approach the tent from different directions, with one stopping only a foot away. Two New Mexico patrol officers investigate mysterious whistling near an abandoned school. Something crawls through waist-high grass before standing upright and revealing a childlike humanoid form with illuminated blue eyes. At Holloman Air Force Base, a woman witnesses large transparent humanoids moving through the desert and appearing outside her home.
