Description

21 Questions (Ep 62) The School Teacher Who Hated The Kids

In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike will ask you about the American President who was invited to join the marines – he was in his 70s at the time! We’ll talk about a famous actor who’s inability to win an Oscar makes him a world record holder, and there’s even a Simpsons question as well – but it’s quite easy, we promise! Not many people know this but in 1879 when Aussie bushranger Ned Kelly was writing his famous Jerilderie Letter he mentioned this podcast! It’s a very long letter but on page 54 (of 56! Really-google it!) Ned wrote: “And whilst I realise my days on this Earth may be numbered, my existence now and yesterday and all the days before has been made all the sweeter for the dulcet tones of Mike van Acker and his 21 Questions podcast…’. So that’s nice. 21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker. 21 Questions (Ep 61) Fatal Attraction? OMW!

In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike asks about a type of belt – but not the type you’re thinking about. There’s also a question about Buckingham Palace,  a tourist landmark in America and a fried fast food that they named a TV show after. Crazy times!   Not many people know this but on June 12, 1987 when U.S. President Ronald Reagan said "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" he was actually talking about a paywall that the Russians had put on this podcast so its citizens couldn’t listen in and learn about the rest of the world. Gorby completely misunderstood and tore down the Berlin Wall instead - and we’re very glad he did! Freedom for all oppressed peoples we say!   21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker. It’s a short, sharp trivia podcast where Mike gives you the answer to each question before he asks the next one so there’s no need for paper, pens, teams or the possum that lives in your ceiling and holds dance parties at 4am.   New episodes every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.   Get in Touch: ‘21 Questions by Trivia Tribe’ on FB or Email: mike@triviatribe.com.au [mike@triviatribe.com.au] Listen Here: https://linktr.ee/21Questionspod [https://linktr.ee/21Questionspod]   AI would have you believe: The episode begins with a birthday celebration and proceeds with a series of trivia questions covering various topics such as text message abbreviations, culinary trivia, historical facts, national sports, astronomy, sea creatures, entertainment, literature, music, and celebrity trivia. 21 Questions (Ep 60) The Private Life of Mickey and Minnie Mouse

In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike will quiz you on a breed of dog named after a country,  a country named after a compass point, and how many points certain balls score in snooker. We think you’ll find this ep quite amusing. Maybe even more than ‘quite’! but we don't want to over-promise anything... Not many people know this but back when Carly Simon was writing You’re So Vain she originally had a reference to this podcast in the lyrics. It went ‘You’re so Vain, you probably think you’d get a perfect score on 21 Questions’ but we said ‘No’ when her publishers asked us for permission to mention us, and we only did that because we didn’t want to get caught up in a Kanye/Taylor type feud… 21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker. It’s a short, sharp trivia podcast where Mike gives you the answer to each question before he asks the next one so there’s no need for paper, pens, teams or a Siamese cat.       New episodes every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. 21 Questions (Ep 58) The Date For The 21 Questions Convention Has Been Announced! Start Saving Now!

In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike asks about Han Solo’s spaceship, Edwin’s Telescope and Wembley’s Stadium. And quite a few other things as well! Not many people know this but when Adolpho Sax invented the saxophone he was going to call it the Adolphohorn, but his wife said it was a bad idea. She used to listen to this podcast and it made her much more worldly than her husband, who really just liked to tinker about in his shed when he could have been listening to this podcast with her, enjoying some quality couple time and maybe even learning a thing or two along the way. Never mind. But, Thank you for your support Mrs Sax!. 21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker. It’s a short, sharp trivia podcast where Mike gives you the answer to each question before he asks the next one so there’s no need for paper, pens, teams or a K-Tel record selector – which is just as well because they haven’t sold those since the 70s.    New episodes every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. This is what it thinks it's about: The conversation begins with an engaging question that sets the stage for understanding the topic.
