You may not consider Jason Statham one of the pantheons, especially due to his more recent work, but his hand to hand combat stunt work in the early days of his career was certainly something to marvel at. He's quite the accomplished martial artists in his own right, not to mention a fantastic diver. Statham shows up on the scene in The Transporter to cause a lot of chaos and generally be a pain in the rear to a set of gangsters. He also gets to drive fast cars while he does it. In a way, we're ending where this all began. James Bond has been on many adventures with us throughout this series, but with Casino Royale, they took the spy back to his roots. We meet a Bond on his first assignment after becoming a double-O and we get a fresh face in Daniel Craig. Based on the Ian Fleming novel of the same name, the franchise has gone back to the well to see if they can revive the old spy after twenty movies it was time for something new.
