Qantas is preparing to launch the world's first non-stop flight from Sydney to London in October next year, with the journey taking 21 hours. The airline unveiled its specially designed Airbus A350-1000 ULR (ultra-long range) aircraft at the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France. London was selected as the first Project Sunrise destination over New York due to high demand and the airline's historical connection to the old kangaroo route.
