NUFC today confirmed that our Sporting Director Paul Mitchell is to leave the club by mutual consent next month. In what has come as a surprise to all Toon fans, there has been no mention of looking for a successor. Does that mean Eddie has now regained control of our transfer activity moving forward? Relief was felt as the full whistle blew at St. James' Park in what was a disappointing performance by the Magpies despite it being a crucial must win game. However, there was a twist in the tale when NUFC's long time sworn enemy Man United pulled off an unlikely win against Aston Villa thus securing The Magpies spot in Europe's Premier Club competition. SQUEAKY BUM TIME | Premier League 2024/25

In what was dubbed as the battle for 2nd place, the Toon Army were gunned down by Arsenal. A good performance saw Newcastle United leave the Emirates knowing they still need a win to secure UCL qualification. A game of 2 halves with missed opportunities without our star talisman means it's all to play for with one game remaining. Let the battle commence!

What a gripping performance that was! The Mags came away from this huge 6-pointer with the Win! Having started the match as the superior side, however the second half was anything but - with a lack of cutting edge in the final third....Queue our captain's heroics to send SJP into frolics!
