A Story of the Grootslang
There are some hidden symbols and meanings in the story. For example, the word Fidelis translates to “Faithful“ or “Faithful one” in latin and the word Lingulaca translates to “Gossiper”. Also, the word Negatio means “denial” in latin, as well as the word Grootslang is translated to “big snake” in dutch (the phrase “big snake“ in latin looked odd so I went with the Dutch or Afrikaans version). I’ve included these to add a little bit more depth to the story and if you recognize this and search in the passage you might find an added meaning or it may clear one up a bit. Anyways, thank you for reading and good luck with your reading and writing.
