An eagerly awaited episode of Al-Majlis.   In this episode, I sat down with someone close to home (literally)—my father Ustadh Adnan Rashid—to discuss the nature of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, the founder of the Qadiani movement.   There are various methods that Sunni Muslims utilise to refute the claims of the Qadiani religion. However, in this episode, we chose to examine the nature of the religion’s founder. Who was he? What was his character like? What did he stand for?   Examining the character of this individual is of utmost importance. Many Muslims, even those who have heard about the Qadiani religion, do not have a detailed understanding of Qadianism, nor its founder. By understanding his character, we are able to further prove the notion that this man, along with his religion are far from the gates of Islam.   - Musa.

Alhamdulillah, it is a pleasure for me to finally publish one of the most anticipated episodes of Al-Majlis. In this episode, we were joined by Mufti Muadh Chati, a widely respected scholar of the Hanafī Madhab. Mufti Muadh is a teacher at Dar al Ulum Blackburn & an author of various works, including his soon to be published ‘Introduction to the Hanafī Madhab’.   This episode is packed with benefits pertaining to history, Hanafī legal theory & much more. We did not shy away from addressing some of the widely discussed themes of contention related to the Hanafī Madhab.   As with all the other Madhab-related podcasts, the process of researching and executing this episode benefited me immensely, allowing me to expand my understanding of this illustrious school of thought.   May Allah accept this from us and make it of benefit - Musa

Jihad Abu Sophia, to discuss the history, evolution, Usul (foundations) & other important elements of this significant school of thought. I particularly enjoyed the research process for this podcast as it provided me with a new-found appreciation for Imam Malik and his school.
