Why Change? - week 1 (05-05-2024)

Change is inevitable. The plants inside and outside of our homes teach us that. Most of us may just watch the plants change each year. And many of us participate in change through acts of watering and pruning and even propagation. Maybe change makes you feel propagated. Cut off from the roots you knew before. That’s fair. For the month of May, we’re going to acknowledge that, while still looking for the new roots that will grow.

Why Believe? - Why believe in Jesus's teachings? (04-28-2024)

The great philosopher Scott Calvin once said, “Believing is Seeing, and Seeing is Believing.” In some way, our belief is tied to our ability to see. Maybe that’s to see the truth, or to see ahead, or to see above the waters. In any case, our eyes are greatly benefitted from believing. Which is why we’re asking a new question for April. Why Believe? Join us as we learn more about the foundations of our faith so that together we can see more of God’s work in the world!
