The goal of the initiative was to prompt and enable long-term transformation in graduate medical education (GME) to address the workforce needs of our current and future health care system. To better understand the impact of the initiative, Dr. Andrews spoke with two principal investigators from the grant teams and the AMA's director of program evaluation to discuss their projects, the community of practice for GME innovation that evolved over the six years, and how they intend to continue to innovate beyond the grant term.
