A born-and-bred Seoulite with absolutely zero prior farming experience signed up for a local gardening program and was assigned two 10m2 plots in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The urbanite-turned-city farmer shares her experience of sowing seeds, planting seedlings, watering the plants, pulling weeds (which, mind you, was a never-ending process), harvesting the fruits of her hard work, and, of course, facing one failure after another. She also met with other urban farmers, farm school staff, permaculture advocate, seed vault staff, and others to hear their valuable insights and fascinating stories!
