The Thrifter Killer

Back for the year 2025 is this audio nuisance of a podcast hosted by Robin Rainbow and Mike The Janitor. In this episode, these two human defects (along with Robin's daughter, Hazel, lingering in the background) start out joyful and fun by talking about thrift store shopping and a Christmas gift Robin got for Mike in the form of an elaborate wine bottle opener. But when the wine comes out, the WHINE comes out. Things get contentious when, as usual, Robin tries to overtake the conversation while Mike is trying to open up and candidly share a recent epiphany. The conversation takes another turn as plans for 2025 are discussed, how a civil war starts, and thoughts on Mike becoming a possible serial killer. All Hell has broken loose in the United States since the Presidential election occurred on November 5th, 2024. In this episode of "Bitter In The Beehive", your hosts, Robin Rainbow and Mike The Janitor, express their fury and rage about the SECOND win of Donald Trump. They also talk about Robin's visit to "Dollywood" in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and her love of Dolly Parton. She also expresses her views and anger on potentially losing her opportunity for student loan forgiveness due to this election, and what could happen to women's rights with Project 2025. Mike opens a box from Robin that includes several gifts from a merchant called "We The People Patriotic Store" that sells nothing but Trump-themed merchandise.

There's no denying that Robin Rainbow and Mike The Janitor have had a lively, fun, and cantankerous friendship over the 15+ years these two have known each other. In this episode, things get a bit more personal. Mike discusses his recent struggles dealing with the aftermath of his mother's death. While Robin talks about being a double live organ donor, and the perils and pain that came with making such a admirable and charitable decision.
