When crafting a film, he often draws inspiration from his own life, vicariously learning and growing with the characters he creates. Wilson’s latest project is The Lost Healer, an award-winning proof-of-concept episode for a Christian-themed fantasy TV series. Inspired by real-world spiritual warfare, the series transports viewers to an imaginative new world while encouraging them to navigate the struggles of this one. Robyn opens up about a moment in her freshman year of college that changed the entire direction of her life, and how that one moment of saying yes eventually led her to years of missionary work in Indonesia with Mission Aviation Fellowship. Robyn gets real about the waiting, the uncertainty, and what it actually looks like to follow God when you can't see the next step. We talk about how to recognize God's voice when life feels loud, why the "in-between" seasons aren't wasted time, and how to loosen your grip on the plan you thought you had.
