Please join us for this important community security and safety training with brother Khalid Shah, a senior leader in South Los Angeles. Brother Khalid has been doing important work in Los Angeles to keep communities safe. He’s been in some of the most dangerous situations in South LA including during the 1992 Watts Riots. Brother Khalid will provide guidance on keeping our communities safe and organized while we protest. Brother Khalid has 50 years of experience in community work ranging back to his time with the Nation of Islam. Conversation will include Umar Hakim, founder of Inkerij and Chair of LA Voice.
