Trailer
Long gestating, the time has come to finally begin the podcast I’ve been thinking about for years: the Bureau of Surrealist Research. Inspired by the original public-facing research center for the Surrealist group from October 1924 to April 1925, this podcast will explore the ideas, activities, and (sometimes) pure anachronisms of the Surrealists during the interwar period in Europe. Episodes will begin in early 2021, so please add this feed to your favorite podcasting app to be updated when they arrive. In the meantime, make like founding Surrealist Philippe Soupault and go to random apartment buildings and ask the concierge, “Does Philippe Soupault live here?”
