Are tennis players getting too greedy? And why was every Olympian mad last week?

This week on the show Cate and Bronte unpack all the drama from the French Open. From crowning two new Grand Slam champions 19 year old Mirra Andreeva and 29 year old Alexander Zverev. Both athletes had very different journeys to their maiden slam wins and reminded us that sport is not predictable and that’s why we love it so much. Bronte and Cate then delve into the revenue share debate at the French Open which leads to a heated discussion about whether Olympians should be paid prize money. It’s a juicy topic, let us know what you think. Thanks for listening! Enhanced Games Update and Parenting Elite Athletes

This week on the podcast Cate and Bronte have a little chuckle at the absolute flop that was the Enhanced Games. Bronte reckons she could jump in the pool now, busted ACL and all and still swim faster than the 4th place getter in the women’s 100m freestyle. The main topic this week is around parenting elite athletes. It’s rare to have one Olympian in a family - let alone two. So what did Mr and Mrs Campbell do to instill excellence, dedication and perseverance in their children? The answer might surprise you. If you like the show, be sure to send it to a friend or family member. Thanks for listening! There is the sports bubble, the restrictive lifestyle, the all-encompassing nature of pursuing an Olympic dream, traveling for months at a time and not having a ‘normal’ work schedule.  Cate and Bronte share their own experiences with dating and bust a few myths along the way. If you enjoyed this episode, share it with a friend (or partner). We hope you enjoy this episode of Campbells & Co.
