Description

What information keeps returning? Have you found some conversations circling back? Now it’s time to make a decision and not look back, so that you can move forward. Perhaps a question has appeared in different forms. Maybe a topic keeps finding its way into your reading or research. An idea you thought you had finished with, only to discover it waiting for you again a few days later, still asking for resolution. There are many other ways this could be showing up. The New Moon arrives at 24° Gemini on 15th June, in the final decan of the sign. Decans are the storytellers and timekeepers of the zodiac. They divide each Sun sign into 3 segments of 10 degrees each, and each explores a different way the sign, in this case Gemini, may show up. By this point in Gemini season, much has already been observed, discussed and explored. The information has been gathered, many possibilities have multiplied, and rabbit holes have been tip toed into, perhaps threads have been followed down unexpected and perhaps surprising paths. Now in the last decan we see something begins to shift. This is still playful and curious Gemini. Questions and answers are still important. Yet this part of Gemini carries a different atmosphere from the lively exchange of the earlier decans. Things have got real and here we begin to notice and apply the patterns. Some possibilities gather momentum while others quietly lose their appeal for you. You know the saying, how long are you going to stay on the pot? This New Moon is our first with Uranus in Gemini so prepare for some unexpected twists or surpises in the story. Uranus has a cycle of over eighty years, so for most of us this is a new experience. In the sign of stories, learning, language and connection Uranus is beginning a long period of change. We are likely to see ways of thinking emerging, both individually in the area of our chart where Gemini lands, perhaps new conversations, understandings, freedoms or insights are taking shape. This New Moon may be the initiation of the possibilities that are appearing on the horizon. Yet this lunation seems less interested in every possibility than in recognising which one belongs to you, individually. Think of the butterfly emerging from its chrysalis and how it cannot return to being a caterpillar. Where are you beginning to recognise a pattern? What possibility feels increasingly alive? What truth have you been gathering evidence for? What choice is slowly taking shape beneath the surface? What does that choice offer me? A Simple Ritual Take a notebook and draw a simple crossroads. Where do you think you stand? Are you approaching, or perhaps standing still in thought? Maybe add yourself to the drawing? On one side, write down all the possibilities that are currently calling for your attention. On another road or path, write down the possibilities that are beginning to lose their energy. Can you identify why? Consider where you would like to be at the Gemini Full Moon in 6 Months, can you mark that along the road, and identify what is needed to get there? Consider where you would like to be in 9 and 18 months for the Moon Family pivot points, the First Quarter and Full Moon in the Family. Can you also draw these in and mark your desired achievements, hopes and dreams along that road? There is no need to force an answer. Sometimes simply sitting with what emerges helps. Sometimes, the future you is clearer than the present you with all your current restraints and worries. Notice what feels alive and shiny for you. Write down what continues to return and call to you. Notice which path keeps asking for your attention, drawing your eye or perhaps asking for more detail. Maybe you need to add something more? Return to it 7 days after the New Moon as the Moon has become visible, notice what has grown or changed for you and include that. I hope clarity will follow for you as the Moon waxes in light. Over the coming lunar month, allow yourself to stay curious about where life seems to be gently guiding your focus. Gemini: Mutable, Yang Air Gemini is the curious, puzzle-loving, playful explorer of words and letters of the zodiac. It is a yang or masculine, mutable, flexible and adaptable air sign. Ruled by Mercury, the Messenger planet of communication, intellect, and adaptability. Yang energy in astrology emphasises external expression, action, and engagement with the world. Mutable signs arrive as a season begins to change. They help us adapt, adjust, and respond quickly to what life presents when things are changing. In Traditional Astrology, we call them double-bodied, which always made more sense to me, highlighting their ability to be two things at once, or shift effortlessly between them. Gemini, after all, is the constellation of the fixed stars Castor and Pollux, the half-brothers, known forever as the duelling twins, who now share immortality, even though one was divine and one was mortal. As we have been in Gemini season (the Sun in Gemini) since 21 May, you may have found that Gemini’s mutable quality has brought you more flexibility, curiosity, and an invitation to juggle multiple ideas or tasks. Its air element fuels thought, dialogue, and connection, making this a great time for sharing ideas and clarifying intentions. This New Moon carries this twin Messenger Mercurial energy, which will amplify the themes of intellect, how we process information, communication, and decision-making. The mutable air energy invites us to embrace mental flexibility and explore new perspectives. This is also the first Gemini Lunation which is co-present with Uranus in Gemini. Uranus takes about 84 years to transit the zodiac, so for many of us, this will be a new experience and may also offer an insight into what the next 7 years of the Uranus transit will hold. Uranus, known as the Awakener, can disrupt, but also bring new insights, freedoms and independence. In Gemini, we can expect to see this change the ways we communicate with each other, just as the telegraph (1858 - 1866) and radio and TV (1941 - 1949) have changed our communications and interactions in the past, both during Uranus in Gemini periods. For an exploration of Uranus through the Decans during this Gemini transit, catch my earlier video: There is a more serious tone when we reach the third decan of Gemini, ruled by Saturn and the Sun, which tempers this lightheartedness. Here, it’s time to face consequences and make choices based on the information gathered. The focus sharpens to “do or die” decisions, where logic and necessity prevail. Mercury, the ruler of Gemini and thus this Lunation, has entered the shadow of its upcoming Retrograde. It will station Retrograde on 29 June at 26 Cancer, until it returns to 16 Cancer on 23 July. We may expect setbacks, delays and reroutes of the themes which may come up during this New Moon and we may not experience easy progress on these matters until August when Mercury re-emerges from the shadow. The nature of a New Moon The New Moon begins a fresh lunar cycle as the Sun and Moon meet in the same sign. At first, much of the process remains internal as the dark sky invites us to go within. The light of the Moon is unseen, overshadowed by its proximity to the Sun. Ancient astrologers associated this darkness with beginnings. Something enters and germinates beneath the soil before there is any visible evidence of growth. The seed is planted long before the first green shoot appears above the surface. A feeling or insight can form, ready for seeding, long before any external changes emerge. You may find your attention shifts. I recommend just noticing what options are presenting, which doors are opening, as well as doors closing for you now. Is a path opening up for you, or are previous blocks being removed? This is all useful information to fertilise and water the earth your new seedling finds itself in. Which opening paths feel appealing and are aligned? Allow something to gently begin germinating and taking root beneath the surface of your life. In Gemini, this new growth may be fast or dual-natured somehow, seeking connections and problem-solving. There is wisdom here in slowing down enough to listen and tune into what your life and the information channels around you are asking for. The Gemini Moon Family cycle We can observe multiple lunar cycles at once. This Gemini Moon is the beginning of the 28-day lunar month, where the Moon will move through all the lunar phases before the next New Moon in Cancer next month. We can also track the 6-month cycle between a New Moon and a Full Moon in the same sign, when what is initiated now comes to fruition and is illuminated in a 12 Monthly cycle. The Full Moon may land in a different decan of the sign, for example, the Gemini Full Moon on 24 November 2026 is in Decan Gemini I. This means it will have different themes as well as being likely to activate different individual placements and angles for personal tracking. Astrologer Dietrich Pessin in Lunar Shadows III introduces an even longer cycle of approximately 27 months, tracking the Moon’s progression as it returns to the same degree range in the zodiac, over repeating 9-month intervals, from new to quarter, full, and closing phases, relative to the Sun. This technique sees repeating activation of the same ‘address’ in your natal chart over this longer time period and repeating decan storyline themes too. The New Moon marks a seeding point in this lunar family, offering a pull to plant new seeds in the area of your life that Gemini falls in your chart, and a hidden thread that weaves a narrative story arc that begins now. This New Moon begins a longer 27-month unfolding cycle. New Moon 15 June 2026 24° Gemini First Quarter 15 March 2027 24° Gemini Full Moon 14 November 2027 21° Gemini Last Quarter 13 August 2028 21° Gemini So, Moon Families track the evolving, progressive relationship between the Sun and Moon. Over time, they reveal deeper developmental themes moving beneath everyday events. How they manifest may depend on how they activate your natal placements, where your ruler of the lunation is placed, Mercury and whether the New Moon falls in an Angular, Succedent or Cadent house. You can learn more about how to read and track these for yourself in my upcoming workshop. It is free for paid subscribers and the early bird price will apply through the summer. This Gemini cycle feels closely connected to themes including pattern recognition, vigilance, observation, knowledge gathering and consequences of awareness, making it a time for decisions, with discernment, insight and perspective shifts. If you have placements between 18–26° of the mutable or double-bodied signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces), or the other Air signs Libra and Aquarius, you’re likely to feel this more directly. Also, if your Profected Lord of the Year or Solar Return Chart Ruler is Mercury. If you are not sure if this Moon Family is activated for you, an astrologer or astro coach can help you. I offer Moon Family readings [https://www.celestiaastrology.com/service-page/moon-family-consultation?referral=service_list_widget] if you want to explore your activated and future Moon Family stories. We also do this work in the Celestia Circle in community. The Decan of Gemini III: Do or Die The final decan of Gemini asks us to confront the crossroads of possibility. Ruled by Saturn and the Sun, it takes Gemini’s mutable, mental energy and grounds it into stark reality, it is no longer playtime. Astrologer Kira Ryberg describes this decan as ‘Decisive’ and Astrologer Austin Coppock more darkly names this decan the "Executioner's Blade," speaking to the necessity of decisive action and the sacrifices required to move forward as well as the finality of the decisions made in this place. In 36 Faces, Austin Coppock concludes: “This decan teaches of life-or-death decisions, asking those who walk this face to bear their weight. Martial power and excellence in judgment result in those who can. Yet this face also teaches levity, the dual revelation of life as comedia/tragedia. For the wise laugh even as the executioner’s blade descends.” Earlier in Gemini season, there is room to explore every option. Questions may lead to more questions. Like Alice in Wonderland, Curiosity leads the way. Yet, eventually, life asks us to bring all that observation together and recognise what it is showing us. When we make any choice, we are saying no to the other options. Sometimes, even not making a choice is a decision, which can also close off some possibilities. Wild Way Oracle — Time to Decide In Wild Way Oracle [https://www.the-wild-way.com] card, the image shows the Gemini III Butterfly. The colourful butterfly with its red wings and white spots hovers over some thistle as if deciding where to settle. Once a butterfly emerges from its chrysalis, it prepares to take flight. Butterflies undergo an intense time of irreversible transformation. The butterfly may carry all the memories of the caterpillar, yet it cannot return to its former state. There may be many flowers in the meadow, which it now enjoys from a new vantage point. There are many potential places to land and yet, it can only choose one at a time. The card speaks to us of discernment, sacrifice, commitment and the necessity of choice. It reminds us that every path involves leaving another behind. What matters is recognising which path continues to carry life, energy and meaning just for you. The caption reminds us that it is ‘Time to Decide’ when we reach here. We are given the keywords: Do or Die, Sacrifice and Necessity of Choice. We see the Butterfly, a symbol of transformation making the choices of where to land. The Guidebook offers further guidance: "It is now time to decide which possibilities to make real and how to discard those that are no longer viable. The judgment required may be difficult, but it is necessary to move forward and thrive." Kira Ryberg writes on the Bound that this new moon falls in, ruled by Saturn. This also means that “planets or lots placed in this part of the zodiac are going to behave in a much more stern and serious manner than we normally expect of Geminis. It’s the ‘Goth Gemini TM’, but it also gives someone access to the gifts that Saturn and Mercury bestow when they’re at their most influential”. Tarot Correspondence: The Ten of Swords This decan corresponds with the 10 of Swords in the tarot, a card that symbolises endings and transitions. Though it may feel heavy or even painful, this decan and perhaps this New Moon remind us that necessary endings pave the way for new beginnings. The image shows a figure lying face down beneath a dark sky while the first light of dawn appears on the horizon. There are 10 swords piercing into the figures back, however, we do not see blood, there is a red covering over the figure and his hand seems to form a signal. This implies that the figure is signalling that all is ok, the wounds or sacrifice is necessary or metaphorical. Light is beginning to break through. The card often emerges when a way of thinking has reached its conclusion. It is the thought pattern that is ending, or needs to die, and a new clarity or light is about to arrive. The Ten of Swords vividly reflects the themes of endings and transformation. The card symbolises a moment of finality, surrender and profound release. While it may appear grim, this card ultimately represents the clearing of old cycles and the painful but necessary end of a chapter. In the context of this New Moon, the Ten of Swords reminds us that letting go, however challenging often paves the way for renewal. Just as Gemini III demands a decision, the Ten of Swords calls for acceptance of what is no longer viable. T. Susan Chang on Gemini III "Decision tree: the path is stark. The sword of choice cleaves light from dark.Logic sees in black and white,Whilst Story calls forth day from night,The Furies and the Fates are blind!Protect me, twin gods of the mind… …One choice embrace, one choice occlude:Surrender to rise up renewed. The twin has died. Long live the twin! All things that end also begin." To rise anew, we must let go of one version of ourselves and fully commit to another. This verse acknowledges how difficult, but necessary this is. As we prepare to leave Gemini III and enter a new Season with Cancer, reaching the Turning of the Wheel, we can no longer embody the archetype of the twin. Which twin will you choose? The choices we make now hold the power to shape our future. The Astrological Conversation The Moon and Sun meet in Gemini at 24 degrees. The sign that is naturally curious, observant and interested in making connections. You may find Gemini season (the Sun’s movement through Gemini) often coincides with a period when life becomes busy with conversations, learning, paperwork, writing, planning, research, networking, or simply trying to understand what is happening around us and just ‘noticing’ more. For this Gemini New Moon, maybe there is a feeling like a pattern is just emerging but you can’t name it yet, it is still hovering on those peripheral edges, but coming into focus. You have been gathering the information, but haven’t yet known where to place it, and just as sand shifts and can be built, the meaning for you could be emerging as the decision time approaches. The ruler of the lunation, Mercury, tells us more of this nuanced story. Mercury is travelling through Cancer, creating a pleasant mutual reception which helps alleviate the lack of direct sight and support for Gemini from its ruler, with the Moon in Gemini and Mercury in Cancer. There is a natural exchange taking place between thoughts and feelings. Logic may now be informing emotions while emotions inform logic. Together, they collaborate to achieve shared outcomes. Mercury, however, is fighting multiple battles. Michelle Corbesier [https://substack.com/profile/92150043-michelle-corbesier] has noted that from June 10 to June 28 Mercury is in a malefic enclosure, this means, the aspect or rays of the two malefic planets reach either side of Mercury, and no other planet is breaking the enclosure up. This timing includes the New Moon on the 15th so will impact its significations. We might expect blocks, pressure or heaviness to the Mercurial themes discussed above. You may find decision paralysis, and it may be best to delay decisions until after the 28th, especially any important ones, although that will take us directly into the Mercury Retrograde. This means that we need to be prepared to reevaluate and review decisions made. Mercury is also now travelling through the degrees where it will later return while retrograde. Astrologers call this the shadow phase, moving towards its station at 26° Cancer. You may have experienced some slowing, setbacks or delays with Mercurial themes, or a sense that you will need to return to things that you start now. Mercury’s upcoming retrograde suggests the best approach is simply remaining attentive to new information as it arrives, and integrating it with what you already know to be true and aligned with you. You may notice yourself reflecting more deeply on conversations than usual. Certain comments may linger and touch sensitive parts of you that were unexpected. There is potential for healing conversations linked to the past. Memories, emotions, new understandings and practical considerations can become woven together as you try to understand what something means for you personally, and are lead to the moment of decision. The New Moon is applying by sextile to Chiron in Aries, creating an opportunity for insight linking Gemini’s search for understanding and Chiron’s ongoing work around identity, confidence and self-definition as Chiron is completing its journey through Aries. The invitation here is to notice what you are learning about yourself through the choices currently taking shape. Will you notice what is showing up and do that work? Uranus has also recently entered Gemini, beginning a much longer story around how we think, learn, connect and communicate. While those larger changes will unfold over the years, this New Moon may offer a first, early glimpse of where new possibilities are emerging for you personally. It may be that unexpected conversations, surprising insights, new interests, calls to freedom, breakthroughs or shifts in perspective can all act as catalysts. Anything that is catching your attention now may prove more important than it first appears, however small. This is one reason I encourage people to pay close attention to New Moon periods, particularly when they activate an important Moon Family cycle. Looking back, the first signs are often visible from the very beginning. It is just that we do not yet know which threads will become the story. For now, notice what keeps returning. Notice what you are being asked to learn. Notice what doors are opening, and which are closing. Notice the synchronicities showing up in your life and notice which possibilities continue to gather energy. ALL the noticing! Elsewhere in the sky, Venus in Leo is moving towards an opposition with Pluto in Aquarius. This aspect may bring questions of value, desire, power dynamics in relationships and authenticity into sharper focus. Relationships can become mirrors, revealing and reflecting what matters most to us. Sometimes, we mask our individual desires to create or maintain harmony, but this may be the time the mask fades and the desire enters the conversation. Creative projects, friendships, communities and romantic connections may all reveal underlying dynamics that have previously remained hidden. The time of Venus-Pluto contacts may be experienced as moments of increased intensity, especially if Venus is significant in your chart or is activated now, for example as your Profection Lord of the Year or angular in your Solar Return. You may find your feelings deepening and no longer being able to take second place. Desires become clearer, defined and ask to be recognised. We might notice where our energy is invested and where it is no longer flowing naturally. There may be tension in this process, as is the nature of oppositions and contact with the Shadow Planet Pluto. The coming weeks may feel less like finding answers and more like recognising which questions truly matter. Do keep noticing as the story unfolds and stay ready to make that decision when the time comes. And Finally... The final decan of Gemini asks us to trust the wisdom that emerges through our observation. Information gathering is never simply that. Why do you gather? What are you attracted to? We are invited to recognise our personal recurring patterns. To gather the gossamer threads we can barely see and to notice where life is already trying to guide our attention. The Gemini New Moon asks for noticing, surrender, and a decision. It’s an interesting mix of information gathering, support, healing wounds, backward glances, and navigating power dynamics as we prepare for a decision we may have avoided until now. Once you decide, you can step boldly into the next chapter and trust the process of transformation. Allow your butterfly to fly, finding the richest, most colourful meadows. Travel well, friends. Are You In The Right Place? The Full Moon in Capricorn

Do you feel your days beginning to change? Hot on the heels of the height of Summer, the Summer Solstice, in the Northern Hemisphere, and the Sun’s entrance into Cardinal Cancer, we greet the Full Moon in Capricorn. The longest day has come and gone. Although summer is only beginning, the light has already reached its peak and now slowly starts its journey back towards winter. In the Southern Hemisphere, the opposite is true. The longest night has just passed, signalling a return to the light. Light is growing, slowly at first. In both hemispheres, we mark and celebrate the turning of the Wheel of the Year and the Changing of the Seasons. The Solstices remind us that every season contains the seed of the next. At the height of light, darkness begins to return. In the deepest darkness, light begins its ascent. Life is rarely still and the constant turning of the wheel is the only certainty. This Full Moon illuminates this knowledge, as old as Time itself. The Moon stands in the first decan of Capricorn opposite the Sun in Cancer, illuminating the relationship between our roots and our ambitions, between what nourishes us and what we are building in the world. Capricorn asks us to look at the structures of our lives. Cancer asks us why those structures matter. Perhaps you have spent recent weeks exploring multiple possibilities. Gemini season has invited questions, conversations, new ideas and changing perspectives. The New Moon in Gemini III asked us to make choices. It may be that some doors opened for you while others quietly closed. Now the Full Moon in Capricorn asks a different question. Here, we are asked to review and assess if our cosy nest has all we need to meet our most lofty aspirations. How well are we using our resources? Before we can settle, rest and enjoy the comforts of Cancer Season, we must face these questions. What are you prepared to commit to? Overview Journal Prompts & Ritual How Can I Help You? What foundation am I building my future upon? What has become clear since December 2024? What responsibility feels meaningful rather than burdensome? What part of my life requires patience rather than urgency? What am I ready to nurture over the long term? A Simple Ritual Capricorn I invites us to return and reconnect with the ground beneath our feet. Find a small stone, crystal, seed, acorn, leaf or another object from the natural world. It is polite to ask permission to work with it, and see if you feel a response of Yes or No. Hold it in your hands, connect with your breathing, and feel your own connection with the earth through your feet. Then spend a few moments noticing its weight, texture and shape. Reflect on something you are choosing to cultivate over the months and years ahead. Maybe a relationship, a practice, a creative project, a new way of living, or something else. As you hold the object, consider what this commitment might require from you. Not only next week, but over a longer time. Thank the object for anything it may have shown or shared with you. Then, you may wish to place the object somewhere meaningful as a reminder that lasting growth is built through many small acts of care and attention. Capricorn: Cardinal, Yin, Earth This is the sign that can move mountains, when needed. Capricorn is an Earth sign, pragmatic, rooted in the tangible and practical. It is Yin or feminine, and it is Cardinal or Tropical, meaning that it will initiate action, but also may keep emotions within and reflect deeply. Things may not be seen to move fast here, but they are considered with intention and purpose. Capricorn emphasises discipline, responsibility, and instinctively understands the necessity of building solid foundations. Here we are in the domain of Saturn, the Lord of Time. Saturn is the only planet ruling two consecutive signs in Traditional Astrology, expressing its yin and yang nature back to back in Capricorn and then Aquarius. Saturn opposes the home signs our lights, both the Sun and Moon, in Cancer and Leo and symbolises the decay, falling away, the necessary rest and going within when we restore and recalibrate. With Mars, the planet of Action exalted in Capricorn, there is a force of energy available for focused action and determined progress. Mars offers to cut away what we need removed from our lives, just as a plant needs pruning to create space for new growth. Together, they represent structures, focused hard work, and the drive to overcome obstacles, after the removal of blockages. This is why we associate the sign with the Mountain Goat, after all, there is no obstacle that can stop that Goat from climbing to the pinnacle and achieving their goal. We see the Cardinal signs at the beginning of each season, where the quality of light is changing, and they often signify a pivot point in our intentions and actions. A Full Moon here may be showing us where we need to take determined action, or need to respond and pivot, in our own lives. Where Cancer protects and nourishes and focuses on the emotions and wellbeing, Capricorn builds and sustains and nurtures by providing. It is concerned with the structures that allow life to endure. Responsibilities, commitments, boundaries, plans, traditions and achievements all belong to Capricorn’s domain. Capricorn, like Saturn, understands that meaningful things take time. Mastery takes time and devotion, discipline, planning and application. In Saturn-ruled signs, where time appears to slow, gratification is delayed and is cumulative rather than instant. This sign asks us to think about what can be sustained. To ensure our foundations are maintained and secure. We assess what deserves such effort, to know what can support us through Time and the changing seasons? What future are we gradually creating through the decisions we make today? The Full Moon: Revelations Full Moons are defined by oppositions, we find the Sun and Moon opposing each other in the sky. This time marks the halfway point in the Lunar monthly cycle, illuminating what was hidden from us in the darkness of the New Moon. The Moon is at its brightest, lighting up the night sky and fully reflecting the light of the Sun, symbolically showing us both what is completed, and what we must now prepare to release as we move towards the end of the cycle. Sometimes this arrives as an external event. At other times, it appears as an inner realisation that suddenly makes sense of previous experiences. The Full Moon is a significant phase in the lunar cycle, often associated with heightened emotions, revelations, and moments of clarity. We are often drawn to this phase of the lunar cycle above all others because it is the one that is most visually stunning and lights up the night landscape. Full Moons, particularly when they impact personal placements in our charts, can bring emotional clarity, fruition, a peak, and at times, relational tension, sometimes even emotional catharsis. culmination, endings, revelations, or moments of heightened awareness. That is a lot, and is why they can often feel uncomfortable. What has been building beneath the surface becomes more difficult to ignore now. The opposition is demanding some action from you. The truths revealed to you may be asking for an integration. They can be a time of heightened awareness, discomfort and disruption for some of us. The seeds planted during the New Moon, either 2 weeks before in Gemini, or 6 months before (in this case, the Capricorn New Moon on 18th January 2026 ), come to fruition now. This opposition between our luminaries, the Sun and the Moon, highlights the Capricorn - Cancer axis as the Sun shines opposite the exiled Capricorn Moon in Moon-ruled Cancer, co-present with exalted and wise Jupiter as well as stationary Messenger Mercury. This highlights our needs for security and nurturing and how this competes with, or supports, our drive to achieve in the world, find our sense of place and grounded foundations. Under this lunation, you may notice tension between your need for structure or commitment and your instinct and intuition. If this Full Moon is activating your birth chart, then you will likely have a Moon Family story connected with it that began at the end of December 2024. Identifying the story will help you understand what is coming up for you now. The Capricorn I Moon Family Cycle Astrologically, we have multiple Lunar cycles occurring simultaneously. The Moon’s cycles can be tracked in several ways, depending on how you want to connect with it. The most immediate is the monthly lunar cycle, which spans approximately 29 days from New Moon to the next New Moon. There is also a six-month cycle between a New Moon and the subsequent Full Moon in the same sign, when the seeds planted during the New Moon come to a fuller fruition. So you can look back at your story over the last 6 months to see what has been growing for you in this time. This Full Moon is part of a Lunar Gestational Cycle or Moon Family. This is a pattern that unfolds over 27 months, or just over 2 years, marked by key lunation phases as the Moon returns to the same degree range of the zodiac, or ‘address’ in a progressing relationship with the Sun. These Moon Families mark developmental arcs, longer stories that build over time. They begin with a seed of intention or insight at the New Moon and find their first visibility nine months later, maybe asking for some adjustment or changes at the first quarter. They reach full clarity and culmination after eighteen months at the full moon phase. The story will resolve or integrate after twenty-seven months when it reaches the last quarter phase, when we then move into a time of release, reflection and preparation for the next cycle. Moon Families were introduced by astrologer Dietrich Pessin and are outlined in her book Lunar Shadows III. They create a hidden thread of a lunar gestation for those of us whose natal chart placements are activated by each Moon Family degree range, and by the ruler. For this Full Moon in Capricorn, the Moon Family is illuminating a story that began in December 2024, with a New Moon. The key dates for this cycle are: Moon Family Dates New Moon (Seeding) 30th December 2024 9° Capricorn First Quarter (Action/Adjustment) 29th September 2025 7° Capricorn Full Moon (Fruition/Culmination) 30th June 2026 8° Capricorn Last Quarter (Release/Integration) 30th March 2027 8° Capricorn If you are not sure, an astrologer or astro coach can help you identify if your placements are activated. We do this work in Celestia Circle and identify what the Moon Families mean for participants by looking more deeply into them. You can also comment ‘Moon Family’ and I will help you. If your chart is activated, can you think back to December 2024 and what began then, even if it was quiet or subtle? What desire, question, opportunity, or internal shift first emerged around that time? You may be able to pick up the threads of your story from the challenges you faced, and decisions you made at the time of the first quarter Moon, in the two weeks around 29th September 2025. You were asked to make a decision, shift or respond, there was some pivot in the storyline as it became clearer. If you are not sure, consider checking back through emails, photos, social media history to see what was going on in your life around those dates. Moon Families unfold across roughly 27 months, revealing the evolving relationship between instinct, action, visibility, and integration. This Full Moon marks the culmination point of the story seeded during the Sagittarius New Moon in December 2024. Please do share if this cycle is calling to you, I love to hear your stories and I am seeking case studies to work with and document. This Moon Family may be especially active and personal and will most affect those with natal placements around 3 - 11 degrees of the Cardinal signs, Capricorn, Aries, Cancer and Libra. Also, the same degrees of the other Earth signs, Taurus and Virgo. Plus those with Saturn as their Profection Lord of the Year, or Solar Return Ascendant ruler. These interconnected lunations emphasise themes of grounded judgement and foundations over 27 months. We can track these cycles to see and work with the evolution of our goals over time, showing how each phase builds upon the last. It is ideal for bigger projects and longer-term goals in our lives if you wish to work with the Moon. Astrologer Kira Ryberg calls this Decan Inertia, and Austin Coppock has named it The Headless Man! The Decan is ruled by Jupiter in the Descending Order Method and Saturn in the Triplicity Method. The decan of Capricorn I asks you, What is worth the effort? Rulers Jupiter and Saturn together are the diurnal, or daytime Sect planets that work with the Sun in Traditional Astrology. Austin Coppock, writing in 36 Faces, says of this decan: “The first face of Capricorn entails the descent of the spirit into the body of the world itself. One sinks into the bones of the world, deeper into materiality than at any point previous. This level of identification with gross matter shocks the perception, and more subtle levels can easily be forgotten in the process. The head is forgotten as consciousness descends.” He continues on to talk of the deity as the powerful healer: “The 36 Airs of the Zodiac, attributes this decan to Asklepios, the god of healing. To heal the body, we must descend into its full density. We come to inhabit our flesh that we might heal it. Meanwhile, the planetary ruler according to the descending order schema, Jupiter, suggests a descent into the material in order to redeem it. While we descend in Taurus to fructify and in Virgo to perfect, in Capricorn we fall down, down, down in order to rule and redeem.” He then talks about how we choose our location, the earth we root into is so important, as this is the quality of the earth we need to sustain and heal us. Kira Ryberg’s keyword is inertia, which is at odds with the more familiar Capricorn stereotypes of driving ambition. Here, we find steady commitment and the willingness to stay engaged with something meaningful. In the Wild Way Oracle Deck, by artist and astrologer Nicola Allan, this Decan is named Laying the Groundwork, associating the themes here with establishing a sense of place and grounding our judgments. We learn about our limitations here and make considered decisions about our resources. The card shows the little brown and white dormouse, curled up ready to hibernate in his nest, insulated by autumn (fall) leaves. He lies on his back, with one wary eye open, still alert. The Dormouse in his nest is making considered decisions. The cosy nest reminds us to think about our resources and assess whether we are in the best place for what we hope to achieve. Could there be somewhere better? Now is the time to consider whether changing your circumstances, job or living situation could be advantageous. Just as the gardener cannot rush the seasons, each arrives with the steady turning of the wheel. We also find here that growth occurs through patience, care, and consistent effort, and constant review. We are given the Decan I Keywords: Sense of Place: Reflect on your environment and assess if it supports your goals. Grounded Judgement: Make considered decisions based on practicality and long-term benefits. Foundations: This is a time to solidify plans and set firm foundations. The Sands of Time: T Susan Chang T. Susan Chang’s verse from Dreaming the Decans emphasises the ongoing flux of life and the potential for growth through adaptation: “…The Lord of matter buys and spends, Common means to common ends, Endless are the tides of change, we profit when we rearrange…. We barter our infinitude, and then we rise again renewed.” This suggests that by embracing change and reevaluating our resources, we can emerge stronger and more aligned with our true path. Tarot Symbolism: The 2 of Pentacles The 2 of Pentacles corresponds with this decan, underscores the need for balance and adaptability. It represents the juggling of resources, time, and energy to maintain stability amidst change. This card, embodies the earth element and the cardinal quality of Capricorn, reminding us to remain flexible and open to new opportunities while staying grounded. The card shows a figure in a tunic and hat in red and orange with lime shoes. The figure is juggling two pentacles, contained by a lime coloured lemniscate. They appear to stand on a stage meaning all may not be as it seems. Behind them we see the waves of the high seas with two boats, sailing on the peaks of the waves. Austin Coppock says of the 2 of Pentacles: “It denotes a change of location and circumstance. The change in location here is analogous to an animal choosing where to build its nest, or a seed taking root in one place or another. It is ultimately a matter of the spirit, floating free, selecting the section of the world in which the drama of its incarnation will take place, and then taking root according to the law of the soil chosen.” The Astrological Conversation There are a lot of shifts and changes in the sky that appear to mark a dividing line between the first half of the year and the second, many seem to cluster around this Full Moon. It may arrive for you as a decision that can no longer be postponed. Perhaps a responsibility that now needs to be taken seriously. Or maybe, a growing awareness that something is shifting beneath the surface, as the chess players are moved around in the days before and after this lunation. Capricorn and Cancer are both cardinal signs. They arrive at the turning points of the year and are concerned with beginnings. Cardinal energy does not tend to sit still for long. It responds, initiates and it instinctively moves our lives forward. The Moon stands in Capricorn, where it is in detriment, or exile, looking towards the structures of life. We may feel temporarily out of place, but having light shone on what we need to do, or adjust to correct that. It may be about the commitments we make or the responsibilities we carry. Opposite, the Sun travels through Cancer alongside stationing Mercury and exalted Jupiter, illuminating questions of belonging, family, care and the roots from which future growth emerges. Together, they ask you to consider the relationship between what sustains and nourishes you, and whether your foundations are in the best place. Saturn, ruler of Capricorn, forms a square to both luminaries from Aries, creating a cardinal T-square at the heart of the chart. There may be frustration with the speed of change, nostalgia for youth, perhaps a need to accept the reality of ageing, and a look at how these impact your situation. The Moon looks to Saturn for guidance, yet Saturn itself is under pressure. The ruler of the Full Moon stands in a sign where it is learning unfamiliar lessons, sharing space with Neptune and challenging both the Sun and Moon simultaneously. There is a sense that life is asking for action while withholding any easy certainty you may have experienced before. Saturn in Aries wants us to take responsibility for ourselves, our choices and our future direction. Neptune in Aries offers dreams, ideals, imagination and possibilities that are still emerging into form. It can also dissolve and confuse the boundaries that you were used to working within. Together they describe a shifting landscape where vision and reality are trying to find a way to work together. You may feel this as a tension between what is calling you forward and what is practically possible for you right now. Mercury in Cancer is stationed at 26° Cancer. Only hours before the Full Moon perfects, Mercury stands within range of Jupiter, preparing to retrace territory that Jupiter has recently illuminated. This matters, as our thinking, communication, and our devices are all on a Time Out, before a review and revision process begins for the next 3 weeks. It is best to avoid important decisions now, and if you can’t, be aware that they may need to be returned to. Your thoughts may return to unfinished conversations. Plans may require more preparation and details can change or need revision. A perspective that once seemed settled may reveal new layers of meaning. It is a good time to test out new ideas, as any glitchs will soon show up. Mercury retrograde is often associated with delays and misunderstandings, yet its deeper purpose is reflection. The planets have built in rest times to go within, we are not meant to always be pushing forward. Pay attention to what keeps returning. It might be a conversation, a memory, an idea or a question, a possibility that refuses to disappear. They all become more important now. Mercury often works through repetition, as it is a planet ruling double-bodied signs, Mercury offers clues and puzzles rather than conclusions. There is yet another threshold woven through this lunation. The day before the Full Moon, Mars forms a sextile to anaretic (at the final degree) Jupiter in Cancer from Taurus. Earth and water work well together as elements, the action of Mars and Jupiterian growth meet through cultivation, patience and steady effort. There is something fertile in this combination, as though life is asking us to tend what is already growing rather than chase something new. Yet very quickly, the atmosphere begins to shift and change. Mars enters Gemini on the day of the Full Moon, forming an Antiscia. A hidden or secret connection, as the light is equal at the beginning of Gemini as in late Cancer, there is a connection that is hidden somehow between Mars and Jupiter connected with the time of the Full Moon. Then Jupiter enters Leo the following day, and the sextile returns in the early degrees. This also changes the elemental conversation as it shifts from earth and water into air and fire. What has been rooted begins to move and is now seeking expression through action, creativity, words and thoughts. It may be that your ideas start to gather momentum, conversations seemingly accelerate, and creative energy feels inspired. This Full Moon at that threshold allows us to pause long enough to recognise what has taken root, right before the pace begins to quicken. Chiron also recently ingressed into Taurus on 19th June, and this is the first lunation, with a whole sign trine from the Moon to the sensitive place of our unhealed wound. For many years Chiron in Aries has invited us to explore and seek to heal questions of identity. You may have answered: Who am I? How do I assert myself? Is my voice heard? What courage is required to become fully myself? As Chiron enters Taurus, the healing journey becomes more embodied and sensory. Attention shifts towards our relationship with the body, the senses, food, rest, pleasure, self-worth and the natural rhythms that sustain the rhythms of our life. This feels deeply connected to the symbolism of Capricorn I. Austin Coppock’s Headless Body is of descent. A reconnection with the earth and into lived experience. It is a reminder that some forms of wisdom cannot be found in logic. They can only be embodied and experienced individually. Perhaps the question is what has already taken root beneath your feet, and is now quietly asking for your commitment. Who Might Feel It? Those with angular or prominent ( Sun, Moon, Chart Ruler) Cardinal signs, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, and Aries placements are likely to feel the influence of this Full Moon most strongly, particularly those angular Saturns in their charts. These individuals may experience significant shifts or revelations that prompt them to reassess their current circumstances and consider new directions. Earth signs, Taurus and Virgo may also find helpful, more gentle prompts arriving. Grounding exercises are likely to be helpful to navigate this time. And Finally… The Full Moon in Capricorn invites us to reflect on our current foundations and make considered decisions about our future. The symbolism of the 2 of Pentacles and the dormouse in the first decan reminds us to evaluate our resources and surroundings thoughtfully. Is there a better place or situation that aligns more closely with our aspirations? This is a time to ground our visions in reality and make practical adjustments that support our long-term goals. The timing of the Moon Family and grounding exercises can help you move through this time with intention. What Decision is Calling You?: New Moon in Gemini

How Can I Help You? Astrology offers a way of recognising the cycles already unfolding beneath the surface of your life. You may be standing at a crossroads, navigating a significant decision, or curious about the longer story emerging through current events. A natal consultation, Moon Family readings [https://www.celestiaastrology.com/service-page/moon-family-consultation?referral=service_list_widget] , or astro-coaching session from CelestiaAstrology.com can help illuminate the patterns at work and the timing surrounding them. Can you name your gift? - Full Moon in Sagittarius

To claim your gift you first have to name it, then aim high for it. Is now your time? The Sagittarius Full Moon arrives tensed for fast movement, think of the wild horses often associated with this sign, at first they gather, still, sensing the wind and its message, yet ready to gallop at any moment, changing direction when the time is right. Maybe Gemini season has brought you the feeling of standing at a crossroads while the wind changes direction around you. So many new messages have arrived. Plans could have shifted. It could be a conversation that lingered in your mind longer than expected. Something that once felt stable to you is now revealing itself to be transitional. Perhaps you simply realise you have already outgrown a version of yourself that you had been trying to carry forward. This Moon connects us to what feels alive in us. What truths do you seek? Sagittarius is a dancing fire that struggles to stay still for long. It seeks perspective. It wants to view the vast horizon. It wants the kind of truth that can only be discovered through experience, risk, and movement through the world itself. Under this Full Moon, you may understand an urge that has been growing to widen your life somehow, perhaps to loosen a constraint. You may need to step beyond a story that has become too narrow to hold who you are becoming. The timing of the Moon Family will tell you more, especially if it activates your natal chart. And yet, this lunation does not arrive without tension, asking for some action or resolution before moving forward. I will explore the astrological aspects that add nuance to the story. The aim is to help you understand your story of this moment. Overview — Let’s Look At… * Journal prompts and ritual * Sagittarius, mutable, yang, fire * The nature of Full Moons * The Sagittarius I Moon Family cycle * The First Decan of Sagittarius - Poisoned Arrow or Magic Motion? * Wild Way symbolism and tarot correspondence * The Astrological Conversation * Who may feel this Full Moon most strongly * And finally… How I Can Help You If this Full Moon is activating your chart, especially around the early degrees of the mutable signs, ( Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini and Virgo), you may already feel life asking you to reconsider direction, priorities, beliefs, or long-term plans. My readings and Moon Family [https://www.celestiaastrology.com/service-page/moon-family-consultation?referral=service_list_widget]sessions are designed to help you work with these larger cycles consciously. Astrology cannot remove uncertainty from life, but it can help you recognise the threads and themes of the story you are already living through. Often, that awareness alone is empowering, it helps your decision-making and strengthens your trust in the process. Journal Prompts * What truth have I been circling, but avoiding fully naming? * Where has my attention become scattered or divided? * What beliefs no longer fit the life I am trying to build? * What would freedom actually look like for me now? * Where do I need greater trust in my own direction? * What am I beginning to understand that I am outgrowing? Simple Ritual Sagittarius is a sign of freedom, pilgrimage, firelight, roads, arrows, beliefs and the call of distant horizons. At twilight, light a candle and sit quietly for a few moments with a journal or piece of paper. Let yourself think about the road behind you first. The version of yourself that brought you this far. Can you identify a crossroads that you recently reached? Write down one belief, expectation, or fear that has begun to feel too small, restrictive, or outdated for the future version of you which will travel forward. Visualise which road from the crossroads begins your new path, perhaps for you it represents a turning away, or an adjustment of what you identified. Then write one sentence beginning with: “I am ready to move toward…” You do not have to force clarity. Sagittarius often works through instinct before certainty arrives. If you cannot be specific, try to name the feeling you wish for, or the goal you aspire to. Speak what you have written into the air above the candle and allow the flame to carry it forward. Then, fold the paper once, blow out the candle with your thanks, and place the paper beneath the candle overnight. The ritual and the act itself will become the prayer. The Fire of Sagittarius Sagittarius is mutable, yang (or masculine and outwards facing), fire, ruled by philosophical and expansive Jupiter. It is embodied by the archetype of the archer: skilled and accurate, releasing his arrow to fly through the air at speed and, hopefully, hit the intended target. Jupiter is currently in its exaltation in nurturing and emotion-led Moon-ruled Cancer. There is a mutual reception with the Moon in Jupiter’s Sagittarius. They share goals and work well together to achieve shared aims. Consider how that shows up in events in your life right now. Sagittarius encourages us to broaden our horizons and challenges our existing beliefs. Its fiery nature encourages us to embrace freedom and act on our passions, while its mutability allows us to remain flexible, open to change and transitions. Sagittarius seeks direction, purpose, and the kind of truth that’s not only discovered in books, but lived out in the world, on the road, in conversation, in experience. Jupiter offers the insights that can be learned through knowledge, bringing things, and people together and creating order. Sagittarius seeks to understand the world through this movement, storytelling, belief, and vision. Mutable fire is not the initiating blaze of Cardinal Martial Aries or the Fixed, enduring flame of Solar Leo. It flickers, sparks, leaps, searches, adapts and dynamically responds to its environment. This is the wildfire that leaps from peak to peak, always looking for higher ground. As a yang or masculine sign, Sagittarius acts outwardly, with a faster willingness to move toward exploration and truth-seeking. Think of the spirit animals of Sagittarius, the Eagle and the wild Horses on the open plains. There is a nature that is never tamed or contained here, forever chasing distant horizons. Sagittarius also carries contradiction. In the fast-burning search for truth, sometimes it rushes past complexity too quickly. Mercury, who enjoys finding the devil in the detail, is in exile here, and it feels like he has his arms crossed, refusing to help out under the Sagittarian T’s and C’s. A Full Moon in Sagittarius is asking us to seek meaning, to aim higher, and will illuminate our belief systems, as well as any cracks in them. As a mutable fire sign, Sagittarius burns away stagnation, inconsistencies and falsehoods. It needs freedom, growth, and vision to feed the flame but the shadow side may also wrestle with restlessness, fanaticism, and burnout. The Full Moon: Revelations Full Moons are defined by oppositions, we find the Sun and Moon opposing each other in the sky. This time marks the halfway point in the Lunar monthly cycle, illuminating what was hidden from us at the New Moon. The Moon is at its brightest, lighting up the night sky and fully reflecting the light of the Sun, symbolically showing us both what is completed and what we must now prepare to release as we move towards the end of the cycle. Full Moons, particularly when they impact personal placements in our charts (not ALL Full Moons you say!) can bring emotional clarity, fruition, a peak, and at times, relational tension, sometimes even emotional catharsis. culmination, endings, revelations, or moments of heightened awareness. What has been building beneath the surface becomes more difficult to ignore now. The truths revealed may ask for integration. They can be a time of heightened awareness, discomfort and disruption for some of us. The seeds planted during the New Moon, either 2 weeks before in Taurus, or 6 months before (in this case, the Sagittarius New Moon on 18th December, 2025), come to fruition now. This Full Moon occurs across the Gemini-Sagittarius axis as the Sun shines opposite in Mercury-ruled Gemini, co-present with the awakening and disruptive planet Uranus. Gemini communicates through questions and collects information from many sources. Sagittarius seeks the one true answer and aims to find a guiding philosophy or meaningful worldview. Under this lunation, you may notice tension between an overwhelming volume of data and your instinct and intuition. Perhaps between facts and personal belief, or remaining open-minded and finally committing yourself to a path. If this Full Moon is activating your birth chart, then you will likely have a Moon Family story connected with it that began in December 2024. Identifying the story will help you understand what is coming up for you now. The Sagittarius I Moon Family Cycle Astrologically, we have multiple Lunar cycles occuring simultaneously. The Moon’s cycles can be tracked in several ways, depending on what you are seeking. These are a pattern that unfolds over 27 months, or just over 2 years, marked by key lunation phases as the Moon returns to the same degree range of the zodiac, or ‘address’ in a progressing relationship with the Sun. These Moon Families mark developmental arcs, longer stories that build over time. They begin with a seed of intention or insight at the New Moon, find their first visibility nine months later, maybe asking for some adjustment or changes, reach full clarity and culmination after eighteen months, and resolve or integrate after twenty-seven months, when we then move into a time of release, reflection and preparation for the next cycle. Moon Families were introduced by astrologer Dietrich Pessin and are outlined in her book Lunar Shadows III. They creates a hidden thread of a lunar gestation for those of us whose natal chart placements are activated by each Moon Family degree range, and by the ruler. For this Full Moon in Sagittarius the Moon Family is illuminating a story that began in December 2024, with a New Moon. The key dates for this cycle are: Moon Family Dates * New Moon (Seeding) 1st December 2024 9° Sagittarius * First Quarter (Action/Adjustment) 31st August 2025 8° Sagittarius * Full Moon (Fruition/Culmination) 31st May 2026 9° Sagittarius * Last Quarter (Release/Integration) 28th February 2027 9° Sagittarius If you are not sure, an astrologer or astro coach can help you identify if your placements are activated. You may be able to pick up the threads of your story from the challenges you faced, and decisions you made at the time of the first quarter Moon, in the two weeks around 31 August 2025.You were asked to make a decision, shift or respond, there was some pivot in the storyline as it became clearer. Please do share if this cycle is calling to you, I love to hear your stories and am seeking case studies to work with and document. This Moon Family may be especially active and personal and will most affect those with natal placements around 3 - 10 degrees of the Mutable signs, Sagittarius, Gemini, Pisces, and Virgo. Also, the same degrees of the Fire signs, Sagittarius, Aries and Leo. Plus those with Jupiter as their Profection Lord of the Year, or Solar Return Ascendant ruler. These interconnected lunations emphasise themes of exploration, learning, and visionary growth over 27 months. We can track these cycles to see and work with the evolution of our goals over time, showing how each phase builds upon the last. It is ideal for bigger projects and longer-term goals in our lives if you wish to work with the Moon. Thank you Astro-Seek Decan of Sagittarius I: Magic Motion and the Poisoned Arrow The New Moon in the first decan of Sagittarius is ruled by Mercury (triplicity ruler) and Jupiter (Chaldean ruler), adding layers of intellectual and spiritual significance. Mercury encourages bold, perhaps unconventional communication, while Jupiter expands our capacity for optimism and learning, while offering wise counsel. Together, these rulers emphasise the power of knowledge and the different ways it can inspire action. So, this decan symbolises the power of ideas, knowledge and action. What happens when concepts take flight and events unfold at lightning speed, which may take us by surprise. Austin Coppock refers to it as the "Poisoned Arrow", representing the duality of this rapid motion. In 36 Faces, Austin Coppock writes that in this decan “ a vision erupts. The ideal self, the half divine hero, appears, composed entirely of spirit-fire” There is power in swift, focused action, but haste can lead to unintended consequences if the target is not carefully chosen, or aligned with our values. The arrow can symbolise precision, direction, and the power of an idea launched into the world. Astrologer Kira Ryberg has called this decan Mystic, referring to the power of the Mage aspect of Jupiter to add fairy dust to our actions. In her book on the 36 Decans, she writes “Here we encounter excess, fertilization and a motivation to provide for ourselves and others. There’s a willingness to sustain whatever arises and to commit to the pathway that is unfolding before us. The mission must go on — after all, it’s too late to turn back now.” Wild Way Oracle & Tarot In the https://www.the-wild-way.comWild Way Oracle [https://www.the-wild-way.com] card for this decan, Sagittarius I is depicted as a wolf in motion, embodying the urgency and energy of this decan. As he runs, he carries his bow and arrows in a harness around his body. We are given the keywords to guide us through this time: Revelation; Swift Movement; Decisive Action and Going Viral “No time to waste!” yells Sagittarius I Wolf as they enthusiastically whoosh by at top speed. Arriving like bolts of lightning, visions, thoughts, and ideas come quickly now and must be implemented immediately or not at all. This is a time for action, but consider what is motivating your eagerness. Thoughts may be easily manipulated through propaganda and persuasion, so ensure your feelings are authentic before drawing your bow and releasing your arrow!” Excerpt from the Wild Way Guide Book by Nicola Allan [https://substack.com/profile/139875190-nicola-allan] Sagittarius I emphasises expansive thinking and bold exploration but warns against letting impulsivity or manipulation guide our decisions. Sagittarius I is a decan of momentum, where the fire of inspiration ignites swift and purposeful action. The authors are all guiding us to wise and careful use of this fiery motion. Tarot - 8 of Wands The 8 of Wands, the tarot card associated with Sagittarius I, also symbolises swift action, clarity of purpose, and rapid movement toward a goal. This card reminds us that momentum is building, and that the time to act is now. The card shows 8 wands seemingly suspended in flight across the fertile green landscape. We see rolling hills, water and buildings in the far distance. The wands themselves all have tender new growth of life to animate them. However, it also holds the same cautions against the impulsiveness that can accompany acting with speed. Consider where we want the wands to land, ensure our direction is aligned with our higher vision. Like arrows in flight, our efforts are propelled forward, but we must be certain of our target. We do not want those arrows, and all that potential, to simply fall, or land, in the wrong place. This feels like our one chance to get it right, after all. It seems we are encouraged to grasp the moment of momentum and maximise the opportunity. T. Susan Chang on Sagittarius I In T. Susan Chang’s evocative words, Sagittarius I is a realm of viral energy and bold manifestation: Viral fires you can’t douse—Ignite them at the Arrow House.See that glowing filament?Harness it before it’s spent... If you want it, say the word! Those who listen shall be heard. What’s your gift? Be swift to name it.Fortune favours those who claim it. Again, there is a sense of a fleeting moment of opportunity. The question is posed, are you ready to name your gift, and claim it? The Astrological Conversation The Full Moon shines next to the royal star Antares, known as the great red “heart of the Scorpion”. It is one of the four ancient royal stars, associated with intensity, conviction, courage, obsession, and encounters with powerful desire or powerful consequences. The four royal stars were said to be the guardians of the celestial directions, and Antares is the Watcher of the West. This red star will be visible in the night sky next to the Full Moon. Antares has long been connected with the warrior spirit, with passion, boldness, and the willingness to move toward something fully rather than half-heartedly. The Greeks associated the star with Mars and you may see military themes prominent at this time, as well as good vs evil discussions. Bernadette Brady, in Star and Planets Combinations writes “ it also indicates that one can be the cause of their own undoing. The natural theme of this star is to generate success by going through a cleansing life-and-death experience. It can suggest one seeks intensity even when not required. By its mythological symbolism it indicates extremes, whether by choice or not.” As with all the royal stars, a moral standard or balance is offered. It can bestow gifts, such as military success, but it can also carry a warning of a public fall alongside its gifts. Antares can burn hot and react too quickly. It can become consumed by righteousness, urgency, or the desire to win at any cost. Under this Full Moon, emotions may feel amplified and difficult to ignore. Something may feel deeply important to you, perhaps even fated, especially as the Sun is separating from its square to the Lunar Nodes. You may notice where your convictions are strengthening, what you no longer desire becomes clear, where your frustration or anger has been quietly simmering, or where your spirit and/or soul simply refuses to continue pretending indifference and you are required to make a choice. As previously mentioned, Antares will also be visible in the night sky. If the skies are clear, the Moon will shine close to this red star, offering a rare opportunity to witness the symbolism directly overhead. There is something profoundly ancient about seeing these stories reflected physically above us. I do encourage you to go out and spend a few moments under the night sky, connecting with Antares and the Moon. At the same time, the Sun, is opposite in Gemini, conjunct the royal star Aldebaran, the Watcher of the East. Where Antares burns with intensity and desire, Aldebaran has traditionally been associated with integrity, honour, leadership, truth, and moral direction. This deepens the good vs evil theme that Antares alone inspires. Antares asks what you are willing to fight for. Aldebaran asks whether your choices remain aligned with your deeper values while doing so. Aldebaran is the right eye of the bull in the constellation of Taurus (now in Tropical Gemini due to precession over the ages, the stars may be ‘fixed’, but they still move a degree every 72 years). Its Arabic name means “the follower”, some say because it follows the Pleiades, others dispute that. The ancient Greeks knew it as “torch bearer”. The Moon has only just separated from its opposition with Uranus in Gemini, just hours before. Uranus is known as the Awakener; it is disruptive and offers a pull to freedom by destabilising. It interrupts routines and breaks open mental patterns that have become too rigid or too small. Oppositions with Uranus might bring tense or surprising encounters with other people, sudden or unexpected news, changes in circumstances, or the feeling that life itself has moved the furniture, or flipped the script while your attention was diverted. You may experience this as overstimulation: racing thoughts, perhaps interrupted sleep or emotional unpredictability. Others may feel a sudden urge to break free from something that has quietly become constrictive. This has been a theme since the Sun also met with Uranus in Gemini on the 22nd May. The Gemini Sun co-present with its ruler Mercury already brought in a season emphasising information, communication, data, narratives, conversations, and competing perspectives. Now, the Sun meeting Aldebaran asks for honesty within all of that movement and flow. You may now realise that some paths are no longer sustainable because they require you to betray something essential within yourself, to overstep a line you hadn’t realised before was even there. The Moon, and the Sun, have also just separated from a square to the Nodes in Pisces and Virgo, moving us out of a fated cardinal cross. The Sun squaring the nodes marks the halfway point between eclipse seasons. You may wish to reflect on the changes you have seen, your personal growth, since the February/March Eclipses, and what you hope to achieve in the next 3 months. This can create the feeling of standing at a karmic crossroads. The South Node in Virgo can manifest through overwork, hyper-vigilance, perfectionism, excessive analysis, or the attempt to manage uncertainty by controlling every detail. The North Node in Pisces asks for trust in the unknown, surrender, emotional honesty, connection with intuition and the mystical. The separating sextile from the Moon to Pluto in Aquarius may add psychological depth. There could be an empowering truth that has been uncovered, or previously hidden truths revealed. There is potential for transformation happening quietly here, especially around identity, belonging and your gifts. Something old may already be shedding, even if externally life still looks much the same. While these recent past aspects are being integrated, the Moon moves toward a stabilising trine with Saturn in Aries. Saturn offers grounding through deliberate action, linked to your sense of self. Saturn in Aries asks for mature courage. The willingness to act on behalf of your future self, to invest for the future and seek delayed gratification. Jupiter, ruler of the Full Moon, is exalted in Cancer at 23 degrees. Jupiter does not behold Sagittarius directly, it is said to be averse and cannot offer direct support. However, as well as being exalted in Cancer, it is also in its own bound. In Cancer, Jupiter seeks emotional nourishment, protection, belonging, memory, and genuine care. The Moon and Jupiter have a mutual reception here, as they are each in the sign of the other’s rulership, and thus they share similar aims and goals, working well together to achieve them. Who May Feel This Full Moon Most Strongly? This lunation may be particularly significant for those with natal placements between roughly 6–11 degrees of: Sagittarius, Gemini, Pisces, Virgo, Aries and Leo Especially where these degrees connect with personal planets, angles, and active Moon Family cycles. Also those whose Profection Lord of the year or Solar Return ascendant is Jupiter. And finally… The speed of events around this Full Moon may leave you feeling like time itself has sped up. You may already have a sense that something needs to change. You may still be trying to negotiate with the familiar. Feeling tension is understandable, Mutable seasons can often feel unsettling while we are moving through them. This Full Moon invites us to harness Sagittarius’s boundless energy and optimism. In the wise words of T Susan Chang, be prepared to name and claim your gift. With courage, clarity, and focus, we can draw our bow, release the arrow, and trust the journey ahead. Stay patient with any delays or obstacles and aligned with your values. Travel well, friends. Finding Time: New Moon in Taurus

How can your failures support you? The burning question of this New Moon asks How can your failures support you? This Taurus New Moon lands with a different pace to it. Taurus holds its own relationship with Time: “Time: it is Earth’s oldest spell” T Susan Chang. You are asked to stop, reflect and apply the lessons of past failures to support yourself going forward. How did you navigate the heat and urgency of recent months, and all the Aries activations we experienced? Life now has hopefully slowed enough for you to notice what has quietly become unsustainable. Maybe the Aries season showed up what is no longer for you. You could now be sensing this growing awareness that some parts of your life need more care, steadiness or honesty. Taurus brings attention back to what is real and tangible. It might show up in your body, your resources, your energy or your precious time. The structures and routines that shape everyday life. At the time of this moon, there’s a strong sense of returning to the foundations and recognising what is stable and steady to support you over the long term. Are you ready to integrate past failures? The lunation is dark in the sky with fixed star Algol and asteroid Mother Ceres, both aspects of the divine Feminine, drawing deeper themes of survival, nourishment, nurturing, protection, depletion, instinct, and self-worth into the heart of this cycle. Perhaps you are arriving at a threshold in your own life now, especially if your chart is activated by this lunation, (read on). Please do share any of your reflections. Overview — Let’s look at… * Journal prompts & ritual * Taurus, Fixed, Yin Earth * The nature of a New Moon * The Taurus Moon Family cycle * The Decan of Taurus III: Prayer Beads * Tarot: Seven of Pentacles & Verse * The Astrological Conversation * Practical Guidance * And finally… How I can help you My work centres around helping people understand the longer cycles and patterns they are living through. Through traditional and lunar astrology, Moon Families, astro-mindfulness, and reflective chart work, I help people navigate these changes, their personal timing, and life’s unfolding cycles with greater clarity and steadiness. Astrology becomes much more useful when it helps you understand where you are, what is developing over time, and how to respond to and work with the cycle consciously. If this New Moon is stirring questions around sustainability, your own pace, direction, or what genuinely deserves your energy moving forward, you are warmly invited to work with me. Journal prompts * What feels genuinely sustainable for me now? * Where in my life am I asked to surrender, slow down, or have patience? * What parts of my life currently feel nourishing? * What would a steadier relationship with myself look like over the next year? * What kind of future am I slowly building through my daily choices? * Where can I learn lessons from my failures? A simple ritual Choose something tangible that you want to tend more carefully. This may be a room, your finances, your body, your garden, your workspace or something else that matters to you. It may be a previously neglected part of your everyday life. Connect slowly with it, mindfully. Clean it, repair it, reorganise it, nourish it with care and attention that it may have lacked until now. As you do this, reflect on what you are trying to cultivate moving forward and what kind of life you genuinely want to sustain over time. How might you both nourish and support each other, now that this connection has been renewed? You may wish to speak your hopes and dreams for the connection into the space as you spend time with your tangible choice. Let the act itself become a quiet devotional practice. Can you make a quiet commitment for the future? What unknown forces will you need to surrender to? A New Moon in Taurus This New Moon in Taurus is an invitation to experience a new grounded, stable cycle, emphasising themes of endurance, patience, and preservation. We are invited to transmute our worry into practical plans and connect with Mother Nature. We step into the Venusian garden where potential and work create beauty and peace of mind. This is a time supporting you for planting intentional seeds in your metaphorical garden that you intend to grow into material and tangible results, not only pleasing your senses or taste buds, but also to improve your view of your world. This lunation invites you to step into the stillness of fixed earth and reflect on: What will you grow? How will you tend it? How can you protect it from the forces you can’t control? What does it look like when your work is done, and you need to step back and allow nature to take its course? The Moon is exalted in Taurus, making this a fertile time to align with nature’s rhythms and embody steady, grounded progress. But this New Moon is not without challenge. There is no direct support available from the Sign or decan rulers, support comes through indirect channels, which may show up in ways you are not at first aware of. Taurus’s fixed nature is patient and resilient, but its shadow is a resistance to change. If we allow plodding persistence, respect for time, flow with the twists and turns, and have gratitude for the journey, we hopefully find that what happens slowly, indeed, happens well here. Taurus: The Symbolism of Venusian, Fixed, Feminine, Earth Taurus slows things down enough for us to notice what is around us. Many of us embraced this awareness during the lockdown time, traffic and noise stilled, social commitments dissolved, we had space to root into our local environment. Nature returned to grab our attention. Taurus, a fixed earth sign, is known for its grounded, patient, stable and enduring nature. Ruled by Venus and by the Moon in its Exaltation, Taurus is feminine, which means receptive, often processing events internally rather than through external action, and focused on the tangible, material and sensual aspects of life. Taurus embodies the earth element through its connection to nature, stability, and value, making it a sign that represents resilience, determination, and an appreciation for life’s tangible pleasures. Its fixed quality gives Taurus a persistent and dependable energy, which can feel like a rock in turbulent times. It is symbolised by the Bull, often slow-moving but powerful and heavy. Taurus prefers gradual growth and steady foundations over quick movement or constant changes. Taurus may get reduced to pleasure or comfort seeking, as one of the significations of the ruler Venus. However, there’s something deeper that drives that instinct. Taurus is a sign that inherently understands value and its cost. The Taurus in your life may crave luxury products, but will also treasure them and enjoy them with all of their senses. Taurus will also know what is worth your time, your care, or where to focus your effort. What allows life to feel rooted, supported, and sustainable over time? This might feel like recognising what you no longer have energy for, perhaps realising that something small and simple matters more than you first thought. I describe this as finding the Sacred in the Mundane, which can also show up in another earth sign, Virgo. Taurus reminds us that our lives are usually built slowly. Most of us are not on a fast roller coaster life of high drama. We make small, daily decisions that, over time, create the form that our life takes. Sometimes, it is punctuated by those big decisions, to move, to marry, to apply for or accept this job or that one, but these are often spaced out. Many small decisions have often led us to the point of the big decision. Can you put your phone down, maybe take a short walk locally, at a leisurely pace, and just see what calls out to you and draws your attention? You will most likely find a vivid, lively, fascinating world that meets you, or are you already in on this life hack? You may find yourself reassessing routines, commitments, financial priorities, relationships, creative work, or the simple structure of everyday life. The shifts may not look dramatic externally, but internally, something is clarifying. This New Moon in Taurus has an added layer of significance, as the Moon is exalted in Taurus. This is a placement where the Moon feels especially comfortable and is said to be “raised up”. The Moon’s exaltation emphasises themes of emotional security and physical grounding, encouraging us to slow down, appreciate what we have, and cultivate patience. Stop and smell the Roses, if you like! Moon Cycles and Lunar Phases: The Arc of Development The nature of a New Moon The New Moon begins a fresh lunar cycle as the Sun and Moon meet in the same sign. At first, much of the process remains internal as the dark sky invites us to go within. The light of the Moon is unseen, overshadowed by its proximity to the Sun. A feeling or insight can form, ready for seeding, long before any external changes emerge. You may find your attention shifts. I recommend just noticing what options are presenting, which doors are opening, as well as doors closing for you now. Is a path opening up for you, or are previous blocks being removed? This is all useful information to fertilise your earth. Which ones feel appealing and are aligned? Allow something to gently begin germinating and taking root beneath the surface of your life. In Taurus, this new growth unfolds gradually, aligned with the natural rhythms of Time, Nature and Celestial Cycles. There is wisdom here in slowing down enough to listen properly to what your life and body are asking for. The Taurus Moon Family cycle We can observe multiple lunar cycles at once. This Taurus Moon is the beginning of the 28-day lunar month where the Moon will move through all the lunar phases before the next New Moon in Gemini next month. We can also track the 6-month cycle between a New Moon and a Full Moon in the same sign, when what is initiated now comes to fruition and is illuminated. This Full Moon may land in a different decan of the sign, for example, the Taurus Full Moon on 26 October 2026 is in Decan Taurus I. This means it may activate different individual placements and angles for personal tracking. Astrologer Dietrich Pessin in Lunar Shadows III introduces an even longer cycle of approximately 27 months, tracking the Moon’s progression as it returns to the same degree range in the zodiac, from new to quarter, full, and closing phases, relative to the Sun. The New Moon marks a seeding point in this lunar family, offering a pull to plant new seeds in the area of your life that Taurus falls in your chart, and a hidden thread that weaves a narrative story arc that begins now. This New Moon begins a longer 27-month unfolding cycle. New Moon 16 May 2026 25° TaurusFirst Quarter 14 February 2027 25° TaurusFull Moon. 14 November 2027 21° TaurusLast Quarter 13 August 2028 21° Taurus Moon Families track the evolving, progressive relationship between the Sun and Moon. Over time, they reveal deeper developmental themes moving beneath everyday events. This Taurus cycle feels closely connected to nourishment, survival, embodiment, resources, self-worth, sustainability, planning, creativity, protection and the rebuilding of steadier foundations. With Algol and Ceres woven into the lunation, there may also be themes around exhaustion, emotional labour, reclaiming personal authority, grief, caretaking, or beginning to recognise where survival patterns have shaped your decisions for longer than you realised. Taurus Moon Family cycles are about building something real enough to last. Relax into the gentle pace, this is slow and steady growth. A time of setting roots and nurturing what we wish to cultivate over time. If you have placements between 16–27° of the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius), you’re likely to feel this more directly. Also if your Profected Lord of the Year or Solar Return Chart Ruler is Venus. We also do this work in Celestia Circle in community. The Decan of Taurus III: Prayer Beads This New Moon lands in the third decan of Taurus, a double rulership by Saturn in both Chaldean and triplicity rulerships. This brings focus to the Saturian energy, offering themes of longevity, preparation and humility. Austin Coppock offers the symbol of “Prayer Beads”, speaking to resilience under pressure. Kira Ryberg calls it “Preservation”, highlighting effort and persistence. Once you have prepared all you can, your focus turns to preserving what you have prepared, and then it is time to surrender and pray. Ultimately, we are all at the mercy of greater forces. The Wild Way names it Weather the Storm, capturing the enduring atmosphere of the decan. They all bring that image of the intensity of effort and surrender to greater forces. With Saturn’s decan rulership, we are learning about the boundaries of our endurance, the benefits of long-term planning and also when it is necessary to surrender, and just pray! Growth here rarely unfolds under easy or perfect conditions, often asking for endurance, resilience and planning ahead. This may bring delays, heavier responsibilities, uncertainty, emotional fatigue, or a gradual realisation that something requires far more commitment than first expected. Taurus III’s wisdom teaches us that we can find grounding and resilience through dedicated, daily efforts. With the influence of Saturn, the new moon in Taurus urges us to think of long-term commitments rather than immediate rewards. . In The Wild Way deck [https://www.the-wild-way.com], by Nicola Allen, the Stag card, titled “Weather the Storm,” reflects this Saturnian wisdom. It tells the story of fortitude and perseverance in times of adversity. The card shows a stag, still and grounded on a grassy hill, gazing up at storm clouds in a starry sky. One bright planet or star may be acting as the Stag’s guide through a stormy time. “Stag knows that patience, humility, and inner strength are cultivated through confronting hardship, often through no fault of our own. But as turbulent as the journey may be, we learn to prepare, to ask for assistance when necessary, and to bolster ourselves against inevitable changes.” The Wild Way Guide Book As the New Moon offers us a fresh start, it also asks us to fortify our foundations and set up plans for any future challenges, bringing in the Saturnian theme of preparedness and responsibility. We are asked to not only expect the unexpected but to face it with grace and preparation. The Oracle card offers us the Taurus III keywords of: Turbulent Times; Always be Prepared; Ward against Misfortune to guide us here. Tarot Symbolism: The Seven of Pentacles and Saturnian Persistence A figure stands in the garden, or perhaps the field, looking carefully at what has grown so far. In the card illustration we see the figure thoughtfully resting their hands and chin on their stake. There are 6 Pentacles appearing to grow on the foliage, and one is at the figure’s feet. This suggests that lasting rewards often require sustained effort and commitment. It speaks to putting time and energy into a goal with the understanding that growth is not instant but steady. We can see the effort, but we are also reminded that it is important to take a moment to pause and reflect. Perhaps on how time has been allowed to pass, or the energy that has been invested as we reach the moment of assessment and adjustment. This card is often called the Lord of Failure. We see one Pentacle on the ground, has it fallen, can it be saved, will it rot? Can the figure learn from this to help the others? There are questions asked and adjustments needed. T Susan Chang advises us to learn from our mistakes and ‘Fail Better’: “Draw on past lessons learned to remedy accidents due to oversight or negligence. Be sceptical of Fate, and make use of your contingency plans. Should everything go sideways, call it a "learning experience". Take a leaf from Samuel Beckett's book and next time, fail better.” This card also speaks to maturity and long-term perspective. Meaningful growth often unfolds more slowly than we would like while we are inside it. Under this New Moon, there may be a strong awareness of how your daily choices, habits, work, relationships, and commitments are shaping the future gradually over time. What can you learn from your failures and apply going forward? The card illustrates Saturn’s influence in the third decan of Taurus, reminding us of the magic of time as a transformative element. We need patience and understanding that the results we seek are being shaped through steady dedication and will support us. Saturn’s emphasis on preservation and diligence in Taurus III encourages us to remain committed to our path, even or especially when progress feels slow. Just as a farmer must wait for the harvest, this New Moon invites us to have faith in the work we’ve invested in, knowing that we can continue to plan, tend and nurture our investment, the rewards are on their way. Verse - Time: Earth’s Oldest Spell From T. Susan Chang's “Dreaming the Decans,” the verse dedicated to this decan captures this essence, and the potential magic of Time beautifully. : Respect the plodding of the Bull,Know when to push and when to pull…Rooted in darkness, Saturn broodsBelieve in that which he occludes.Time: it is Earth’s oldest spell. What happens slowly, happens well… We can choose to honour time as an ally when we slow our pace. We are reminded not to fear Saturn, the Lord of Time and planet of borders, hard lessons and discipline. Saturn moves methodically and rhythmically, weaving spells of endurance that only reveal their full form with patience and persistence. It is a timely reminder, especially as Saturn grapples with the challenges of fast moving Aries. The Astrological Conversation The New Moon’s aspects draw our attention to themes of the divine Feminine, self reliance, grounding and preparation. The Sun and Moon meet together at 25°of Taurus. The Moon is feeling indulgent here and is spreading her joy to us as she moves through her exaltation. Mercury and the Sun have just met in Cazimi at 23° on Thursday and begun a fresh new cycle. Mercury is now separating from the Sun, but the Moon is applying to Mercury, and their proximity brings a voice to the new agreements of the Cazimi, while Mercury remains combust. The message may arrive in a similar subtle way, maybe intuition, omens from nature, or in dreams. Your attention may turn toward the practical realities of how you are living, what your energy is supporting, and whether your current support structures are sustainable emotionally, financially, physically, and spiritually. With fixed star Algol at 26° signifying fierce feminine protectiveness and the depths of creativity. Algol is also well known for the signification of losing one’s head, although these days astrologers may see this manifesting as headaches, migraines or finally losing your cool as well as head injuries for Algol natives. In contrast, Asteroid Ceres, signifying nurtering and the Mother-Child relationship at 25°. Together, they sit either side of the New Moon. The tarot Trump card for sign ruler Venus is the Empress, so here we are seeing 3 facets of the divine Feminine and 3 different ways it can manifest. We may expect women in power to be important around this time. We might also reflect on how we embody all aspects of our own divine feminine nature, present within us all. Ceres speaks to nourishment and loss, but also to the cycles of return that follow periods of depletion. Algol intensifies instinct and exposes what can no longer remain buried beneath endurance or silence. These themes could become more instinctive and emotionally charged. For example, if your chart is activated, it may show up as unprocessed grief, anger, depletion, fear, resentment, or survival strategies may rise close to the surface now for integration and healing in this cycle. You may recognise where constant giving, caretaking, overworking, or carrying responsibility for others has gradually disconnected you from your own needs and limits. Venus, ruler of the New Moon, brings focus toward relationships, value, resources, desire, nourishment, and emotional reciprocity. She has no traditional line of sight to the New Moon from the last degrees of Gemini. We do see her and Mercury sharing goals and working well together as they are in mutual reception. The decan ruler, Saturn in Aries, may add a feeling of urgency while being blocked. Like Venus, it cannot offer direct support Saturn finds it harder in this fast paced, instinctive, reactive and youthful sign. Saturn slows things down enough for reality to become clear. It may reveal where stronger boundaries, clearer priorities, and more sustainable foundations are needed now. However, it is more likely to show up indirectly, through another person, in a dream or a message. There are two separating aspects for this New Moon. Pluto is in a superior whole sign square. This might be speaking to an existing situation that may have been unearthed, maybe you are still dealing with rebalancing the new power dynamics. You may be working on integrating a shadow aspect of self, and the New Moon represents a reset. The Moon also met in a pleasant sextile with exalted Jupiter in the Moon’s home sign of Cancer. This is carrying the uplifting support of home, family, nourishing support and optimism into the lunation. Those pleasant memories can inform the decisions you make now and the voice that Mercury brings to this time. Practical Guidance for the Taurus New Moon * Reflect on Long-Term Commitments: Think about where you’ve invested your time and energy over the past six months since the last Taurus Full Moon. Consider what’s growing well and what may need adjustment or release to help you reach your fullest potential. * Practice Saturnian Discipline: The double Saturn rulership in Taurus III is offering to teach us planning and endurance. Saturn’s rulership in this decan asks us to think about the future. Now is a great time to plan and commit to structures and routines that support tangible, practical long-term goals, such as in personal projects, relationships, or finances. Take some time to review your foundations, maybe financial, emotional, or physical. Review lessons you may have learned from failures in this area, then make adjustments that bring stability. * Mindful Meditation on Resilience: Engage in a practice of grounding and patience, connecting with the Earth to anchor yourself amid any turbulence. Visualise yourself as a sturdy oak tree, weathering winds with grace, drawing strength from your roots, growing towards the Sun’s light and warmth. Lean into Taurus’s earthy energy with activities like spending time in nature, practicing mindfulness, or connecting with tangible elements that provide a sense of security. Who will feel it most? With the New Moon in Taurus, fixed signs, that is Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquariusa are most likely feel this lunation most strongly, particularly those with placements around 25° in any of the signs. Those with personal planets or angles in earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn, may also find this New Moon offers supportive energy for grounding, persistence and perseverance. And finally… This Taurus New Moon feels like a return to the quieter truths that emerge when life slows down enough for us to hear ourselves properly again. The Taurus New Moon invites us to embrace stability amid change, find comfort in routine, and honour time’s gentle unfolding. By aligning with Taurus’s energy of resilience and preservation, we’re reminded to invest in what endures and honour the wisdom that comes from patience. Some things may feel heavier now because they genuinely require attention, or the planning wasn’t quite enough. Others may begin falling away simply because they can no longer be sustained in the same way and we need to fail better. Return to the burning question and lean into your inner wisdom to recognise the difference. How can your failures support you? Reflect and apply what you learn, this is where it is most important. Algol and Ceres, together with the lunation, are inviting us to take a fresh look at our own divine feminine nature. How we navigate themes of survival, nourishment, instinct, grief, and the gradual rebuilding that follows periods of exhaustion or loss. They remind us that caring is not weakness and that boundaries are necessary to avoid failure. Rest and natural rhythms are an essential part of growth.
