It's so important to remember to take a look around and see who's waiting for you to mess up. Especially as we head into February, look at who has maybe drained most of your energy, or who did you feel like was trying to bring you down. Takeaways * Proverbs 4:23 * Matthew 7:6

Let's Be Real ~ The Struggles of Being Overweight as A Christian

This episode, it gets real. This episode was completely unplanned, but I was crying and praying, and I thought, "hey, why not use this moment to kind of show people the reality of being overweight and struggling with self-esteem." Because let's face it! As Christians, we are told, "oh you are beautiful, made in the image of God," and then people just expect us to stop crying about it or to suddenly not care. Which by the way, is NOT normal! I would argue that it's totally okay to realize that your body isn't healthy. It's not okay to get to the point that I have, and just not eat. That's where it becomes harmful and not ok. And if you are struggling with something similar to me, please reach out! * Please send me any thoughts, prayers, and questions below! chalkdustandtrust@gmail.com [chalkdustandtrust@gmail.com]
