Civilians in military uniforms: My Current Perspective of the Air Force Academy

I just returned from my 40th class reunion at the Air Force Academy. The reunion was great but the state of the academy makes me wonder where the standards went. Beards, long hair on men and women and zero table manners are just a few of the issues I discuss in this highly anticipated episode. The new commandant says he’s a standards guy. Can he change the slipping academy standards or is it too late to save this institution created to train and develop military leaders? In this episode I talk about Constitution Day and present a breakdown of the preamble that was provided to me by a friend who graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1983. Perhaps if we understood the preamble we’d understand the significance of this day in history and our Constitution. Worth listening to every year.

9/11/2001 🇺🇸

In this episode I revisit the events of 9/11/2001 and call for us as a nation, to unite in spirit as we did so many years ago. I close with an article written by Cornel Nistorescu, a Romanian, entitled “Ode to America”, written on September 24, 2002.
