Violet shares her recovery from drugs and alcohol. I share my journey with an eating disorder. It was very interesting to explore the similarities and the deeper root beneath both: the mind’s urge to escape the Now. Addiction isn’t always obvious. Sometimes it’s substances. And when we tune into what our bodies are trying to tell us, we can work with it, rather than against it, to truly heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
