20 years ago, 40,000 people dressed in white filled Amsterdam Arena to watch a green-haired man to hunt for their dreams. This is Sensation White 2006. For this EP we are going into DJ Tiesto's legendary set — a 38-minute YouTube video that captures the transitional moment between 90s rave culture and mainstream EDM dominance. We use this utopian spectacle as a lens to examine the era of flip hones, gel hair, and other important relics that fuel the Y2k revival.. back before the iPhone changed our collective innocence. Along the way we discuss how we experienced somewhat stiffling "coolness" of trendy art school, Cirque du Soleil's magnificence, and many other important little facts.
