Faith Please God

In 2 Corinthians 5, we learn that our principal ambition, the goal and aim of our life, should be to please God. But how do we please Him? Is there an answer revealed in the Word of God? Yes. Pastor Chris explores this answer in Hebrews 11. You will grow in your faith and be empowered to trust God and refuse doubt. Faith isn't a feeling; it's a conscious decision to trust God no matter what. Determine to be a person of faith. You must be the type to say, "I refuse to doubt God. If I'm going to doubt something, I will doubt my doubts; If I'm going to doubt something, I will doubt the devil; If I'm going to doubt something, I will doubt the news report; If I'm going to doubt something, I will doubt the doctor's report, but God, I refuse to doubt you." Standing in the Gap

In Ezekiel 22, God looked for someone to stand in the gap so that He would not destroy the people, but he found no one. In Exodus, Moses did stand in the gap and saved a nation. What does it mean to stand in the gap before the Lord? Will you be one who commits to standing in the gap for others? Jesus stood in the gap for all humanity by His sacrifice on the cross. Will you tell others about what Jesus did for them to save them from destruction?
