Christ Faith Tabernacle International
In today’s sermon, Apostle Alfred Williams challenges believers—especially the men of Christ Faith Tabernacle—to reject distraction and embrace the call to greatness. Drawing from Nehemiah 6:3, he reminds us that every Christian has “a great work” to do, and that focus, courage and resilience are essential if we are to fulfil heaven’s mandate. Using the theme “The Men Who Change Their World”, he points to Jesus Christ as the greatest example of lasting impact, while also reflecting on Moses, Joshua and Nehemiah as men whose lives reveal both the power of obedience and the danger of losing focus. Apostle then anchors the message in Matthew 5:14–16, declaring that believers are the light of the world—a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. He teaches that when our motive is right, heaven backs us; when we stop asking “what can I get?” and begin asking “what can I give?”, our light begins to shine in our homes, workplaces, churches and nation. With Isaiah 60:1 and John 8:12, the sermon becomes a call to rise, shine, seek God wholeheartedly, and serve Him with willing devotion. Don’t be distracted, don’t hide your light, and don’t settle for less—because God has called you to stand out, build boldly, and become a man or woman who changes their world.
