A Contaminated Conscience

Hebrews 9:11-28 reveals Jesus Christ as our perfect High Priest who entered the heavenly sanctuary and secured eternal redemption through His own blood. Later, when the disciples asked why they had failed, Jesus explained that their lack of faith had hindered them. Hebrews 8:1–13 is a powerful declaration that Jesus is the perfect High Priest who mediates a better covenant than the old Mosaic system. The earthly tabernacle and sacrifices were only shadows of the heavenly reality fulfilled in Christ.
