A malicious robber is impersonating a police officer, usually striking when there's a red traffic light. Followed by Escape, originally broadcast July 14, 1950, 76 years ago, Shark Bait starring William Conrad. A good story about gun runners during a Central American revolution, with a surprise ending. Then, Wanted, originally broadcast July 14, 1950, 76 years ago, State Senator Hooper. Senator Hooper is found dead in a car in Michigan. "One of the filthiest (stories) smashed through the newspapers of the nation." The January 11, 1945 story of the "Purple Gang" is told by narration, statements, tape recordings of the participants in the case, as well as actors. "The Voice Of The Underworld" sums up the case. A fascinating radio format, audibly edited on tape (one music cue is late, tape is being heard cued on the air). Where is Myron Selik, "the man with small feet?".
