Coming Home to Her
Making friends as an adult is so much harder than anyone warns you about. When we're younger it just kind of happens. Same environment, same people, forced together until suddenly you have a best friend. But as an adult — especially when you've moved somewhere new — you actually have to try. And trying is awkward. In this episode I talk about why it gets so much harder as we get older, what's worked for me across every place I've lived, and the weird vulnerability of putting yourself out there when everyone already seems to have their people. Because making friends as an adult is strange and discouraging and nobody tells you that. But it's also proof that it's never too late to find your people.
