Evelyn Ijeh got her first career NWSL goal, Ashley Sanchez broke her personal record with her 6th of the season, Ally Schlegel scored her first in a Courage kit against her former team, and Olivia Wingate made her return to the pitch. Oh, and Manaka won Goal of the Week AND became just the sixth player in NWSL history to score in five straight home appearances. Crystal Dunn is headed to the Ring of Honor, Sanchez swept SI and NWSL Player of the Month, and we get into the Erica Parkinson rumors and check in on all the former Courage players wearing number 10 around the league — how many can you name? A fun show as always, check it out!

EP 65 - Finishes, Not Shots, a Redux

The brothers are back this week with another loaded episode! Riley Jackson earns a U.S. call-up and NWSL Assist of the Week, Kailen Sheridan earns Save of the Week (with a little help from Ryan Williams) and heads north for Canada with Carly Wickenheiser. Oh, and wouldn't you know it, Manaka Matsukubo takes Player of the Week! We also bid farewell to Courtnee Vine and bid well wishes to Lauryn Thompson after her announcement that she will be missing her call-up to the Young Lionesses due to injury. On the pitch, the Courage are rolling. A 2-1 win over Angel City caps three straight wins and sends them into the midseason break above the playoff line at 5W-3D-3L. Evelyn Ijeh? Scored in three consecutive matches and we are here for it! Schnittker's Standout Stat puts Manaka's ridiculous run in perspective — only Temwa Chawinga has more direct goal contributions in the NWSL over the past 12 months. Plus, Ally Schlegel on mental health and a great Cam Brooks interview on the Women's Soccer Pod. A fun show as always, check it out!

EP 62 - You Got Banda'd

Episode 62 is here! Before we get into the match, we're sending love to Payton Crawford following her season-ending ACL tear, and teasing an exciting Ring of Honor announcement coming May 19th. On the pitch in front of 7,088 fans, Lauryn Thompson earned her first start and Ivy Younce made her professional debut as a second-half sub — but it was a night of tough firsts: the Courage's first road loss of the season and their first second-half goal conceded all year. We dig into Manaka Matsukubo's ridiculous form — she leads the entire NWSL in goal contributions (18) and goals scored (14) over the past year. We've also a fun hat-trick fact, a special shoutout to a Reddit comment about Cameon Brooks being someone's favorite Courage player this week, and we look ahead to the Courage hosting the Chicago Stars this Saturday for Star Wars Night. A fun show as always, check it out!
