Beskrivelse

Dive into the haunting unsolved murder of Jean Bradley, a 47-year-old businesswoman brutally stabbed eight times in a seemingly random attack on March 25, 1993, near Acton Town tube station in London.  In this episode of Crimes That Haunt Us, we explore the shocking details of that fateful evening: Jean's routine commute home from work, her stop to buy drinks, and the sudden, motiveless assault as she approached her parked BMW on Carbery Avenue. Witness the dramatic chase by a brave carpenter who pursued the knife-wielding killer through the streets, only for the suspect to escape toward Acton High Street.  Despite detailed descriptions, hundreds of leads, and public appeals on shows like Crimewatch, no one has been convicted.  Was it linked to serial killer Robert Napper or the similar unsolved stabbing of Penny Bell?  Or was it a completely random act of violence that has baffled investigators for over 30 years? Join us as we uncover eyewitness accounts, police investigations, and the lingering mysteries that keep this case alive.  If you have any information, contact the Metropolitan Police – you could help solve this cold case!  For the documentary version see here https://youtu.be/b1-ZnzTdE8w [https://youtu.be/b1-ZnzTdE8w] (00:00) The Haunting Case of Jean Bradley (0:52) Who Was Jean Bradley? He Crashed His Car… Then Vanished | The Kyle Vaughan Disappearance

On December 30, 2012, 24-year-old Kyle Vaughan — affectionately known as "Jabbers" — left his family home in Newbridge, South Wales, for a normal night out.  He went from a house party in Abercarn to a pub in Risca, then headed back... but never arrived. His silver Peugeot 306 was found crashed on the A467 between Risca and Crosskeys.  Kyle walked away from the non-life-threatening accident... and vanished within minutes in a terrifying "vanishing window." Despite massive searches across 40+ areas, 900+ witness statements, 200+ interviews, review of thousands of telecom and CCTV records, and eight arrests (including on suspicion of murder), Kyle's body has never been found. No clothing, phone, keys, or insulin supplies (he was diabetic) were ever recovered.  His mother Mary died in 2018 without closure, and his father Alan still fights for answers while battling his own health issues. Gwent Police treat this as an active murder investigation — one of their most significant long-running cases.  A £20,000 reward remains. Someone in the tight-knit South Wales valleys community knows what happened that night on the A467.
