Criminal Behaviorology Episode # 61 Title: False Allegations: Why Accusations Matter - (Originally Broadcast on 9.30.2018) The entire presentation can be found on our YouTube channel: @criminalbehaviorology - https://youtu.be/-e1I4mbwvdQ The views of our guests, should we have any, do not necessarily reflect those of Criminal Behaviorology, nor our sponsors. Donate to Criminal Behaviorology Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=81930699 Note: This is a bit of a “throwback” to a podcast on our old platform from 2018. It is about false accusations of sexual assault. The sound quality is a little rough, but I consider the message to be quite important. Enjoy the rerun episode. An article in slate.com by Cathy Young (2014) reviews the importance of false rape accusations and the controversies that ensue. A segment from Roy Hazelwood and Ann Burgess from "Practical Aspects of Rape Investigation" (1987) provide insight on how to approach such cases. The sensitive nature of this topic requires an objective and careful examination of all the factors involved.
