RSAC Highlights Cybersecurity Investment In Generative AI, Channel

The RSA Conference returns to San Francisco this week, with tens of thousands descending on the Moscone Center to discuss — and debate — the latest developments and new trends in the world of cybersecurity. Many vendors and partners focused on the security industry will be present, of course, and that means lots of news. HP Inc. Gathers Partners For Big Amplify Program Changes

CRN Senior Editor Gina Narcisi talks with Senior Editor Dylan Martin about his recent trip to HP Inc.’s first major conference since the pandemic started and how the Palo Alto, Calif.-based PC and print giant used the event to prepare partners for big changes to the Amplify partner program and new growth opportunities. The biggest change is HP’s plan this fall to integrate its recent acquisitions of video conferencing provider Poly, remote computing firm Teradici and gaming accessory designer HyperX into the Amplify program. But the company also plans to introduce a new incentive that will increase compensation for partners who sell from HP’s wider portfolio of products and services. HP CEO Enrique Lores told partners at the Amplify conference growth areas like hybrid work solutions and peripherals will create new opportunities for them, which is why he’s confident about the future.
