Enemy At The Gates

Empty Jars

A widow was drowning in debt and about to lose her two sons to a creditor. She had one small jar of oil and no idea what to do next. Elisha didn't take up a collection or call in a favor. He asked what she had, then told her to go get empty jars — as many as she could find. The oil kept pouring until the jars ran out.
