His focus shifted from spiritually motivated, emotional experiences to learning about the God of the Bible. He recounts dabbling in astral projection and his willingness to try anything to get a "spiritual experience". One scary experience pushed him to the Bible to look for answers. Through reading the Bible himself, Jesus became real to him. We discuss the complexities of emotions and how God can handle our big questions.
