De Camino a la Ciudadanía Canadiense
In this episode, we review how power is organized in Canada: constitutional monarchy, parliamentary democracy, federal state, Parliament, the Senate, the House of Commons, the federal government, provinces, municipalities, federal elections, ridings, MPs, the secret ballot, majority and minority governments, the official opposition, and the justice system. The goal is to understand how the main pieces of Canada’s government fit together and why the rule of law is key to citizenship. This podcast is not official material and does not replace the Government of Canada’s Discover Canada guide. It is only a free Spanish study support resource to review the content in a simple, conversational way.
