Description

Welcome back to season 2 of Devo-teas! Today host eden sits down with their friend Luna over some bowls of bi luo chun jasmine green tea to talk a lot about video games: how are they made accessible to players, how does tutorialization work, and what attracts us to different game types. Some other fun things that come up are cheat codes (eden remembered after the fact that the money cheat in Starcraft was, of course, "show me the money"), DePiglio, the podcast Abnormal Mapping (go listen to them!), and achievement hunting.

Artemis II with Mike

This week, eden sits down with returning guest Mike to talk more about space and specifically: the Artemis II spaceflight mission, which passed the moon just yesterday. They mostly talk space exploration, what the Artemis project's long term goals are, and why people want to put humans on Mars, but there are the usual digressions and conversational culs-de-sac you've come to expect from an episode of this podcast. Important announcement: this is the last episode of season 1 of Devo-teas! I initially planned this podcast to be biweekly to give me a bit more breathing room and prep time to record conversations, edit, and everything else, but the response was positive enough that I decided to release episodes weekly instead and move to a seasonal model. So the podcast will be taking the next four weeks off for a chance to rest, recuperate, and perhaps build up a backlog of new conversations, and we'll be back with a new episode on 05 May. See you then!
