As humans, we can easily take what we have for granted and disregard those who are in need. In today's sermon, Christian Flores and a group of others share about their experience in Maputo, Mozambique with the Ascend Academy, an after-school program that strives to lift children out of poverty by giving them the skills to succeed as future professionals. Learning To Stop

We live in a world where stopping seems so impossible. From coming to a complete stop at a stop sign or going to bed on time. We KNOW we need to stop, but why is it so hard? God commands us to SHABBAT or STOP. It is built into our design as a necessity, yet it seems so impossible. Today we break down why it can be so difficult as well as how to approach learning the divine practice of Sabbath and learning to stop.

Excellence and accomplishments don't just happen. Intentionality is critical. The same is true with the pursuit of holiness. We must be intentional with the decisions we make and the actions we take. But it can feel overwhelming not knowing where to begin. That's where spiritual rhythms come into play. Today we unpack some spiritual rhythms that Jesus demonstrated, why they were important and how we can set SMART goals in our pursuit of holiness.

Sacred Change

We are called to be holy because God is holy. But how do we do that? We've all tried to be holy on our own before. It doesn't seem to work. It almost seems impossible. Today we look at the story of David facing Goliath and see how God fights for us in the battle for holiness.

Sacred People

Last time we talked about how holy and set apart God is. But because of God's holiness, we, as His people were also called to be holy! What does that mean? How do we live up to such a standard? Today, Marc, explores this idea and unpacks how the call to holiness is so much more than just following a set of rules. It is an invitation to know God deeper, to grow in our maturity, and a chance to show God's holiness to those around us.
